When I deaccelerate, I hear a humming sound coming from the rear of the car. I had the rear seal on diff replaced twice under warranty. When I brought the car into the dealership, it didn't make any of these sounds. After the first time it was repaired, it made a really loud humming sound when I let off the throttle and a whoosh sound. After the second time it was replaced, the humming sound no long occurs at higher speed but only at lower speeds. Anyone know what it could be? I thought maybe the pinion is damaged.
