Do any of you have the part number for the factory rear valence or does the bumper cover part number come with everything you need?
When I ordered the premium bumper from Levittown Ford there are two part numbers for the bumper and the valance, nothing else comes with those two pieces, I'm at work and don't have the part numbers at the moment

Just stopped by the bodyshop this morning to drop off the Roush rear valence. Having that painted Gloss black to match the roof and the other black accents on the car. They will then remove my base bumper, modify/cut up the base bumper to install the Roush Valence, and re-install onto my car on Monday. Local mustang club price: $450 out the door :headbang: They said they have done this many times before...

Will definetely try and get pics of the fabrication work done to make the side wingletts get mounted up. Pics will be posted on Monday of the finished product. Sure beats $700+ for a premium bumper, paint and having a base bumper laying around trying to sell...
Really interested to see how this turns out. Are you switching to dual exit tips to fill the wider opening or staying with single exit tips?

After dropping the bumper off at the body shop and rolling around for a day with my plate zip tied to the bumper beam, it was a waste of my time :frusty:. I come back later for them to inform me that there was no way to attach the small "winglets" of the Roush valence without putting screws on the outside. Apparently they didn't know the difference between a base and premium bumper.

So I ordered a new premium bumper ($332.98 shipped) to get painted and Monday I go back to have them switch out bumpers. Long story short - Roush valence will not work with base bumper without it looking ghetto...

This is what I was afraid of, but was cautiously optimistic for you.

I am also looking forward to seeing some of the completed base to premium projects. Since I purchased the Preimum bumper/diffuser from Levittown Ford, I've been searching for a local shop to do the paint work......also during this time I also decided to go with the RTR diffuser similar to Turbostang15 and waiting for it to arrive.

I can modify (cut) the premium bumper to pre fit the RTR diffuser before it goes to the body shop, other then removing the base bumper is there any hardware that is needed to complete the swap from base to premium from those who have already done so ???

Thanks, since the valance already has the attaching nuts in place that makes it s bit easier, I would imagine all the reflectors and remaining hardware are all re-usable

Yup. You just have to transfer them over, including the wiring harness. Not really that hard, just take your time, and take a pic of the way it's all installed on the inside of the bumper cover before you start pulling it apart. That way you can reference how to set it back up.

I found a video on youtube from I think cjponyparts installing the Roush valence, and it was really helpful.

Finally picked up the premium rear bumper that was paint matched perfectly and the roush rear valence painted gloss black. Paint shop then fabricated the bumper for the Roush valance and it turned out great! Looks incredible painted gloss black to match all the other black accents on the car - so glad I didn't leave it textured grey. Now to find some time to install the Corsa with quad tips...
