I painted my diffuser gloss black, because I liked it better than with the yellow diffuser.

Don't put down the base bumper. You can add dual thin fins to it, and it looks more race car than the premium. And of course you can paint the lower section any way you desire.
Any pictures of the diffuser? I have wanted to paint or wrap the yellow part of the premium bumper.

When I had to replace my bumper, I had them paint the diffuser gloss black. I recommend paint. (Not plasti-dip bc it won't adhere for the duration.) A wrap would be challenging due to the shapes. DIY satin is a good option, bc it is hard to see any flaws on this part in its location, and satin would closely match the plastic trim next to it.

Not the best pic, bc it is cloudy day, black part, angled, and underneath the car.

I ordered mine from Levittown. Drove down and picked it up myself.

I wouldn't question the cheaper price, just go with it.

Aarron....very nice conversion, I'd like to do the same thing....is there a reason why you drove down to Levittown to buy the bumper and not a local dealer by you ???
Levittown is a 20 minute drive for me, but I was originally going to go to my local dearer where I purchased my GT

When it says "remanufacturered", does that mean this is a core turn in bumper? Is it worth paying the extra $150 for a brand new one vs a "remanufacturered"?
I would, if I was you, pay the extra money for a brand new one. Remanufactured never fits quite right. Uneven gaps once it's installed.

Spoke with a bodyshop that does a lot of custom fabrications. They said on the phone that they could cut and modify my base bumper to make the Roush valence fit. Taking the valence up there tomorrow to get painted gloss black and he'll give me the final word if it can be done or not. Hoping they can do it as it'll save me $700 in a bumper and paint job...

I'm interested to see if this gets done for less than $700.

Just stopped by the bodyshop this morning to drop off the Roush rear valence. Having that painted Gloss black to match the roof and the other black accents on the car. They will then remove my base bumper, modify/cut up the base bumper to install the Roush Valence, and re-install onto my car on Monday. Local mustang club price: $450 out the door :headbang: They said they have done this many times before...

Will definetely try and get pics of the fabrication work done to make the side wingletts get mounted up. Pics will be posted on Monday of the finished product. Sure beats $700+ for a premium bumper, paint and having a base bumper laying around trying to sell...

Do any of you have the part number for the factory rear valence or does the bumper cover part number come with everything you need?
