Seems like the 2nd Owner drove it, took care of it, from 2021-2024. I'd like to think if there was something still not quite right, the 2nd Owner would have reported an issue or sold the car yet again.

I wonder what the Oasis Report would say, if the selling dealer would give you a copy.

From 2021 - 2024, car was regularly serviced and inspected.

Offered for sale, 09/2024.

Edit,

In continuing posts, the car was offered for sale in 09/2024, by Orleans Ford, NY.

04/17/2025, the vehicle was sold to Bidleman Ford, NY.

I was double-checking my previous post. I think this car has already been sold?

CarFax says it was offered for sale in 09/2024. CarFax then says the vehicle was sold 4/17/2025?

That sale fell through? Dealer late updating their web site?

I have been keeping my eye on it and it was at Orleans Ford a week or so ago, and now it's at this dealer. Not sure if that would show on carfax if sold between dealers.

I’d love to know why Orleans moved it. What were they selling it for? I’d advise real caution here. I do agree that an Oasis report is a no brainer.

So...I went back to Orleans, thinking maybe the old information was still there. I checked "GT500" in my query and came across the following.

https://www.orleansford.net/used/Ford/2022-Ford-Mustang-df0c3da5ac18551cd6336dbb27f3e649.htm

https://www.carfax.com/vehiclehisto...r-FSwuQsfXBVXWFk8rAkYj86nEpAGygGhQdwkBfz--rCc

This car has moved through multiple dealers, had several things replaced or repaired. One failed emissions inspection, but has since passed. Offered for sale by several different dealers in the last few months.

IDK. Maybe that's Orlean's thing: they find difficult sales and connect with buyers. Or flip GT500s for whatever profit they can. This orange one has been to Oregon, Florida, CT and NY. Could have been bought by someone with multiple residences, with them then shipping the car back-and-forth between homes.

Personally I would avoid car like the plague. Far too many oddities. Find a clean one owner car preferably being sold by the owner. No guarantees but a much better chance for satisfaction.

What stands out here (Red Flag #1) is the Buyback, It seems there was a wiring gremlin that they couldn't figure out from 4/21-6/21 and it was bought back which took them nearly a month and half to fix, then instead of selling it themselves they auctioned it off (Red Flag #2). Then the fact this was actually sold and held onto for 3 yrs and then sold again isnt a big deal, but I would agree to see the Oasis or carfax report for those 4 yrs and How many miles was it driven, I would be curious to know who put most of the 20K on there, the 1st owner that had it for a year, or the 2nd owner who had it, I seriously doubt they both drove it equally, it could be driver 1 put the miles on it and driver 2 kept it a garage queen.

Hmmmm! What racing stripe?

This made me chuckle I noticed this right away and yet no one commented on this. Are the stripes invisible and only come out in the rain? More than likely they slapped a generic details page on to it But still that would raise an eyebrow.

Over all with the rest that this car has been around the block with dealerships and auctions and no one is really vested in trying to sell this car AND its nearly 7K less than the going rate, I would venture to say if you really really wanted this car you could make a seriously deal showing them the history of this car, but on a personal level I'd pass and let someone thats clueless pick it up and let them deal with the headaches cause more than likely its going to be a brat that daddy's going to buy it for.

But thats my 2c.

This isn’t defending this car. There could have been a minor electrical issue that a tech simply didn’t figure it out or wasn’t given the time by Ford to properly diagnose. Unfortunately for the consumer they(Ford), other manufacturers as well simply don’t give enough diagnostic time. And the techs aren’t getting paid for more then what they allow. It’s a crap deal on the service side, and I’d bet it bites them(Ford) many times where they should reevaluate their strategy. I don’t know the area where this car is being sold but wouldn’t be surprised if all the different dealers that popped up were part of the same automotive group. Around here there are many locally named dealers that have been bought up and put under someone else but they left the names in place to make people think they’re buying local. The car is for sure high on where price is concerned. If it had a long term warranty with it that was included in the price it probably would have sold already even at the price its at. Me personally I’d drop the extra 8-10k on a very nice base 500 before this as well.
