So with the discontinuation of one the very best dual purpose tires (DD/occasional track day& autox tire), for those that have driven on the RE11...what do you think of the new MPS4S?
Of tires that have the same level of grip as the RE11 and longevity, the Michelin’s seem like the only real comparable tire.
My concerns with the Michelin’s remain the same as the MPSS’, chunking due to the widely spaced tread design, a con the RE11’s don’t share. Probably less of a concern on track vs autox but as I will for sure see some autocross I would rather not kill my tires too early.
I’m not a bad driver but definitely not the best either. I Adapt very well to repeated runs, as I learn almost entirely on experience, not very good at envisioning a run and then applying that vision to the run. So I can be quite susceptible to overdriving the front tires.
I got over 20k miles on my RE11s on my 285/35/19 square set up. They are not quite bald yet but getting close....I have also never rotated my tires, but surprisingly enough the wear is even on all four corners haha  apparently I drive the front just as hard as the rear.
So discussion on a suitable supp for the RE11s?
