I’ve seen photos of the mustang production line. No wonder we have problems with aluminium oxidisation. My garden shed is cleaner with less debris. The factory isn’t fit to assemble lawn mowers, let alone cars.

By definition aluminum cannot "rust". Rust is the oxidation of iron or steel. Aluminum can oxidize but it's not "rust" because it's not iron or steel. I don't believe anyone has specifically named oxidation in aluminum?

I had the hood corrosion on my 2008 GT and my 2012 GT. My 2015 GT was still clean when i traded it in 4 years later.

That's just odd. My 2019 sat on the lot from 11/18 until I bought it new in 4/20, and was flawless. It was still flawless when I sold it last month. Maybe Race Red resists corrosion.
Maybe it out runs the corrosion
