We have a container shortage. We have a product shortage. We have a truck driver shortage. Many container ships filled with products and containers are sitting off the port.
Why isn't anyone asking- Why are we not getting the products off the ships through any means necessary (like we did during wartime) to get this stuff moving?
We have a military. Afghanistan is over. We have trucks. We can pay retired drivers reenter the workspace temporarily to relieve the load. We can temporarily reduce the DOT restrictions.
