Say that three times real fast!

Car is up on the lift for a few days. I let the car/lift down so that all the weight is off the cylinders and on the safety/lock arm. I also disconnected the hoses.

Is this cool? Would you guys do something different?

yes thats fine/normal. the quickjack youtube page has a lot of great videos about setup and use. personally when i use mine i leave the hoses connected with some pressure in the line in the event of a catastrophic lock failure the pressure would stop or slow the car. the company says its perfectly ok to do what you are doing and i would probably do the same if the car was just sitting on them for days and i wasnt going to be on under it.

In that configuration it's really no different than leaving the car on jackstands for a few days.

I have lifted my car and left it on the lock for weeks on end with the hoses installed with no problem

You'll be fine leaving the hoses connected or disconnected.
