So I'm researching the fore fuel system install and something is on my mind. Gas is flammable spark lights gas and causes explosion.

Looking at the fuel pump it has electrical wiring on it.

Can someone help re assure me to know all will be fine? Something I need to look for?

I guess my concern is what keeps that wire from arcing when soaked in gas?

I just want to ensure I don't start the car and blow myself up. Funny as it sounds I want to be aware. I know some may say well then take it to a shop. I say if the instructions I have are sound I'll be fine.
