When there is a cold startup say in the mornings, how loud is it? Which is hard question to answer I know but ...

If youre standing next to it when starting can you feel it in the chest? If youre able to remote start it, can you hear it through walls loudly enough to wake you up?

Or even better, could someone take a quick video of a cold start at about 20 feet away or so? All the videos on youtube are stupidly close for some reason.

The reason I ask is I live in an APT complex with cheap walls and the buildings face each other in a U shape. So sound reverberates around. I know these will be loudish, but just want to make sure its not absurd.

Thats pretty loud indeed. But I think the super 10s and x pipe I have now is louder. Or maybe the same. Appreciate the video.

It is pretty loud, BUT here's the thing, those idiotic harley's are still louder, so in the grander scheme, it's not THAT loud. Mine quiet down a bit after the first 3-4 seconds, then even more after 20-30sec when it's warmed up a bit more.

Just don't back up into a parking space with the exhaust facing directly into someones window and you'll be ok.

i have one and live in a packed apt

I feel bad in the mornings, but I leave at 7am so I think most ppl are up by then. I have my own garage so im guessing it even amplifies it more but no complaints yet, knock on wood

I have it...buy it, if that's the exhaust you want.

The cold start lasts about 20 seconds, then it idles down to a much lower volume.

People over exaggerate about neighbors hating you and that it wakes the dead and other BS...don't listen to any of that. As long as you are not revving your car or accelerating fast from your apartment complex, 99% of people won't notice.

There is always that "ONE" person though, you can't please them...just know that.

Funny enough there is a group of Harley guys in a house right next to our apt complex area. They are always revving and shit like 3am on weeknights. So yeah compared to that im down right civil.

As it is, and what I will continue to do if its loud enough, is start it, wait 3 seconds then put it in R. Let is sit for a few more seconds then back up. And yeah usually I have the pipes facing away from my building and parked far away as possible from the opposite side building.

I just cant pass up the price being offered to me through Hypermotive installed. Even if its 'too loud' i would pay more for a quieter comparable exhaust system. I can also look at the touring system if they have it there next Wednesday when I go to have it installed.

When there is a cold startup say in the mornings, how loud is it? Very loud

If youre standing next to it when starting can you feel it in the chest? If youre able to remote start it, can you hear it through walls loudly enough to wake you up? Yes and yes

If you want your exhaust to be loud then I would tell you to get this one or any from solo.
Either way you will be happy

Yeah judging from how loud it is (my current setup) hearing it inside my apartment these corsa are not going to be any louder. The flowmaster super 10s are a fly ass away from being straight through pipes. Literally half the size of any normal muffler with nothing inside but two V shaped plates of metal.

Literally if I am standing next to my car, even on the sides when I start it in the morning. It feel the exhaust in my chest its so loud.

The Corsa Xtreme by itself is manageable. Are you planning on going catless down the road? If so, I would look into the touring. I'm running catless with my Xtreme and I feel like an asshole starting it in the mornings. No matter how slow I drive it or how little RPM, it's loud. Cold starts? LOL. Don't stand behind the car and don't aim the rear towards anyone's house/apartment.

At worst I plan on doing LTs with high flow cats. But not for a long time.
