I think it will in the midrange.
Makes 14.5 @5600 on a 2.7 now. Then drops to 13.2ish. At 7500.I think it will in the midrange.
Porting is my next move. I was going to test 2.5 pulley. This video tells me all I need to know. I did also speak to Joker Porting. They claim 2.5 psi boost gain on stock pulley. This kit may well be able to push 900+ with Porting and 103 TB.@Autopart101 we may see some better numbers from them soon as I hear a smaller-than-stock pulley is on the car now. I can’t imagine less than 850…
Isn’t that your old car engineer Mike? This is interesting. I reached out to DRP Motorsports for the info, after seeing this YouTube video. 88mm pulley. 3.4 inches. .4 inches larger than stock. With porting and larger 103mm TB they are seeing 11-12 psi boost on an 88mm pulley. Porting and larger TB must free up 3+ psi of boost.
No, the first and only Roush I’ve owned is my current 2020 truck.Isn’t that your old car engineer Mike?
How do you like it? I’m considering getting one.No, the first and only Roush I’ve owned is my current 2020 truck.
The truck is great, but the Roush tune totally neuters is much worse than the cars. I’ve modified the cam timing, shift character, and shift points and the truck just came alive. I went even further and made a flex tune utilizing the stock injectors and pump and it’s even more impressive. I’ve clocked 0-60 times in 3.3 seconds, almost a full second quicker than stock. How do you like it? I’m considering getting one.
On the street I don't take it off. TC is always on. I run 20" DR's and they hook on the street if I leave the nannies on. On the strip I have run an 11.4 @ 125 with TC on. I have also ran a 10.7 @ 135 with it off. If I turn it off on the street i'm not hooking til 65mph or better.. By that point, I've lost...is there any way to utilize the factory traction control to improve safety/help keep the car on the road? If so, does it depend which year car?
You lowered at all with those 20" rims?On the street I don't take it off. TC is always on. I run 20" DR's and they hook on the street if I leave the nannies on.
