But if you run the VIN through OASIS, does it have a warranty start date?
Warranty start date initiates on the date of vehicle purchase - not when or if the car has been “titled”.

@PP0001 - If you can hang onto that 2015, you should, just due to it’s rarity alone.

I remember back in '07 when everyone said the same thing about the 2007 GT500....the 2009 GT500KR...now look at their values. Modern Mustangs won't appreciate.
15s have very little to to with 2007. It's about production numbers and a car people want.

Exactly

2015 RS will be collectable. I think all RS will be so. Maybe not in my lifetime, but my cars are already set aside for a very lucky young nephew with very specific instructions.

Everyone seems to forget what a game changer the 2015 GT350 was, not to mention the R. The 2020 GT500 is the next evolution, and that is why I have a golden ticket with every box checked.

This will be quite the collection for my nephew down the road.

As for the 2015 Rs? Yes they are valuable and collectable.

Tom, just to add to your comments it should be pointed out that the very first new generation Shelby Mustang was a 2015 Shelby GT350R with the chassis number being "F0001" and the VIN 1FATP8JZ6F5520001.

This very first R model was ordered in Oxford White and Black OTT stripes with a Blend Date of July 7, 2015.

It should also be noted that this very first GT350R was a "Base R Model" which was very similar in to one of the original 36 Competition Cars with respect to the many delete items and was ordered and allocated of course to one of the Ford family.

Based on a conversation that I had last week it is my understanding that another Ford family member has requested that the very last 2020 GT350R be allocated to him/her with this last R model coming in Wimbledon White and painted Guardsman OTT stripes.

In addition this last R model will come with Blue painted brake calipers, Blue seat inserts, outside and rear Blue badging and a unique Blue chassis plate.

If I was a betting man I might suggest that the individual who ordered this very last 2020 R model may also be the same individual who presently owns "F0001" therefore he or she would have the very first R and the very last R all subject to the 2020 MY being the last year for production.

Interesting to note that back in the day the GT350's were produced for a total of 6 years and that this new generation of GT350's may also mirror that same production timeline.

Certainly agree with your comments as everyone has a different idea and opinion as to what is really important to them and how they feel about a particular model, year, color or optioned Mustang.

About 3 years ago I attended an MCA Mustang get together in Georgia and brought my 2015 GT350 to the gathering and parked right beside my car was another 5 GT350's from the 2015 MY and all owned by the same person with most of these cars all being 1 of 1 color combinations.

I particularly liked the 2015 Race Red and Blue OTT striped GT350 with this car being previously driven by a Ford exec for a couple of years before being released and sold to the general public.

The last picture is of car numbers 77, 79 and 80 all of which are 1 of 1 color combinations with my car being the SB Track Pack car.

As you mentioned each to their own and suggest that we should all respect each others points of view and interests when it comes to all things Mustang.
