I will need to replace my tires soon on my 2018 GT350 with stock wheels. I want the tires that will last the longest on daily street driving with 1 or 2 track days per year on stock car. On Tirerack it shows 3 different PSS 295/35/19, our oem is 100Y SL with 7.5/32" threads. It also lists a PSS 295/35/19 104Y XL with 9/32" threads. Will this 9/32" last longer and perform the same on our cars?
Also considering PS4S in 295/35/19 for the fronts and rears because I don't want to lower ride height with the 305/30/19s on the rears. Does the PS4S have a longer life compared to the PSS? Will it be ok to mount a PS4S 295/35/19 on the oem rear wheel and occasionally use it on track events? Anyone tried this on their cars?

Did you try calling tire rack?

I had PSS on my previous track pack and I can tell you they are really good . I had maybe 50% life remaining, with 4 track days, 13k miles all up when I sold the car.
PS4S are way wider (check thread width at tire rack) so I would go (for a stock 350, non R) with 295 / 305 front/rear. the 305 PS4S is just as wide as a 315 Sport Cup 2's.

As far as longevity, they are very similar. I would not buy a PS4S for the sake of longer life. If you want that, get all seasons.

I just took the Cups off my 350. Went with the PSS. Did 100Y in front because that's what came stock on the 18's

This is the way to go if you are looking to retain the original ride height and stance. The PSS tires were the cat's meow in 2018 and so they still are outstanding tires. The P4S tire is the new kid on the block and standard on the GT500 and C8 Corvette with Z51 package. They are also awesome but no exactly the right size for the GT350 wheel.

Switch from Cup2s to PSS same size 295/305 today. Drove car and very happy with PSS. I didn't mind tremlining on Cup2s, but with PSS it's completely gone. IMO Ford should install PSS tires on GT350 to begin with.

They had to equip it with the Cup 2's to get those impressive media reviews.

I wish I could have specced the car with PSS - it would have saved me $1400+ and I wouldn't have a stack of Cup 2's in my garage I can't sell.

Average new tires used on cars typically start with 10/32" to 11/32" of original tread depth. ... As mentioned above, tires are legally "worn out" In most States when they reach 2/32" of remaining tread depth. For example, a typical tire that starts with 10/32" of original tread depth has only 8/32" of useable tread depth. So, 9/32" will last longer than 7.5/32".[/QUOTE]

Sorry for hi-jacking this thread but my friend has a problem with his tires.

He drives a 2017 GT350 and changed for one week ago to P51 wheels (front 10,5x19 and rear 11x19) with PS4S 305/30 all around.
Now the ASR Lamp is flashing sometimes on high RPM (above 6.000 rpm)....

On my 2018 GT250 I have the same setup (wheels and tires) and I dont have that problem. Any ideas?

The computer is programmed to have a difference of rotation differential. Not a lot but some. By running square the computer thinks the car is out of control and tries to fix it. A programmer will alleviate that problem. Lund or any of those that has tire size parameters included a will cure that. Or turn traction control off until the reprogram is complete.

But why Has my Car Not this problem?
Can the Parameters Changed via Forscan?
