So I already have a 93 oct tune from Lund. I will be adding BBK long tube headers with catted midpipes. Lund said i do bot need a tune revision, that I just need to disconnect the negative battery terminal for 10 mins then I’m good to go. Can anyone give me some input on this? Thanks

The tune itself will probably be fine, but I would probably advise doing a datalog afterwards so they can check it and make sure everything looks good.

I plan on doing this within my 3 month free window because why not? They offer it, and logging your car gets your tune tweaked for your specific car if needed. My current tune runs great on my headers, but the datalog will tell them exactly what my car is doing.

The whole point of adding headers is the scavenging effect they provide over stock. While the tune works with it, I would be willing to guess that it may not be optimized in that area and there's some performance to be had, but I'm not a professional tuner. I would suggest the datalog route and maybe get a few revisions.

Long tubes with cats in place of shorties with cats. The computer is more than capable of the extremely slight adjustment needed. All it cares is airflow and fuel in, and O2 readings. So there's a shred more air, the computer knows that from the MAF. Pulling the battery terminals is just to reset the fuel trims so it can learn new ones faster.

They told me the same thing and the car is running fine. I wish I knew how this worked but Lund knows better than me, so I wouldn't worry about it

If the tune you paid for comes with free revisions then I would get it revised for the headers. No way would I trust that original tune after adding headers.

Lund tuned here, was advised car would not need a tune revision when I added LTHs. I added LTHs and the car runs great.
