2019 GT automatic/ all stock incl stock 18" wheels. I've tried the 0-60 timer in both automatic mode and the 'Christmas Tree" thing, and I can't get lower than 5.2 seconds.
have tried Sport and Drag mode, have NOT disengaged traction control yet. Today I stomped on it good ( or so I thought) heard rubber between 1st-2nd and 2nd- 3rd. But I don't think I lost power due to traction control because the car was roaring. I guess my question is, if power cuts out because of traction control, wouldn't I see and feel it? Wasn't looking at the dash but would the traction control light come on if it cut in? Oh yea, I'm no racer and this is pretty new to me.

It shifts early in first when spinning. It pulls timing in second when spinning. Same with third. This car has a very good traction control system.

You are traction limited.

This car will toast 235s. Play wisely with turning off the traction control.

So you're suggesting turning off the traction control and be careful?

Yes. I ran the 235s for about 2500 miles when new. The car was slow to me. I could roast the 235s though 3rd no problem with the TC off. Car felt slow.

What I didn’t realize was how much the traction control was working when I didn’t want to spin. Bought a set of PP1 rims and tires and the car is fast.

So how bad am I with 0-60 in 5.2 seconds? Sounds like the traction control is working even tho I can't feel it?

You just need better tires and a good surface. Try some drag radials at a drag strip if you can.

Maybe I just need more practice.

which mode- drag? TC on or off?
I have a 300a. No Drag Mode. It didn't matter much whether TC was on or off. Same results most of the time.

I do have drag radials now (and a blower) and the best I have gotten was a 4.0 but that was with a dragy and on the drag strip.
