Exactly why it is good to post (and participate in) polls like this. So the larger perspective can be sampled. It's certainly not a scientific sampling, but it does help to show a more realistic perspective on what percentage of cars have no issues vs. with them.

If after a large enough response has been made and it showed that say 85% of Mustang owner's on these forums reported 'Perfect', that would give me a better feeling than what I have gotten reading the forums to date. I was starting to feel (however irrational) that my odds of having non minor issue(s) on my 2/27 sched. build convertible V6 were more than 50%. Unless my perception changes significantly I'm planning to drive the 1.5 hours to my dealer alone when it is ready. Planning to spend whatever time is needed to go over the car closely with my 'list'. I would be leaving the dealer with the list of fixes to be done (and not leaving 'with my new car') before I paid and accepted possession. Saves me the pressure of being there with my wife and feeling the need to take the car then and there. I'll see how I feel as the time gets closer.
This really rings true...and participate in polls like this... As it stands, this thread has been viewed 1,000 times with only 77 votes. Less than 8% participation  I know some don't have their car and other views come from multiple visits, but still!! How hard is it to click one choice? This is my biggest surprise - for lack of a better term - apathy.

Voted.

I, and maybe a lot more, view the forum through tapatalk on my phone and the polls don't show up. Could be one reason why more cant or don't vote

Polls don't show on my phone or iPad or I would vote. Panel alignment issues for me.

I seldom access this forum via my laptop. I use Tapatalk on my phone or iPad which doesn't support polls.

Also, 8% participation is very good for a poll.

We should have this thread highlighted in a more common area so people can see it.

1000 views isn't that many considering I come back to check multiple times when I get notifications that there are responses on this thread. I am sure I am not the only one who gets these notifications. Therefore, 77 votes is A LOT out of 1000 views. Your poll is very popular. ;)
And I didn't vote...because my car was perfect when I bought it...then "imperfect" a few weeks later.:headbonk:

My brake squeal will be fixed on Ford's dime and the cockeyed body panels aren't that noticeable. To me the car is still perfect thus far. It all depends on how you look at it.

This.:)
I also believe it would generate tons of votes if not in such an obscure area. It also doesn't help that right now the poll is sitting in a not-so-positive sub-forum called 'Issues, Repairs, Warranty, TSB, Recalls'. Of *course* we will find more negative votes here. People are experiencing legitimate serious problems with their cars but then there are also others who are happily modding away and showing them off. We need a neutral area.:D

Looking at the poll in the moment, it would mean 50% of each GT or EB had issues and 25% of V6 had an issue what makes sense because the V6 started later in production. I had I hope minor issues with hood and doors not aligned, trunk lit not aligned with taillights and some parts not installed proper where I was thinking: "How could this car pass the QC in the factory with not addressing this issues?"

That's were it gets interesting with "how people look" at things. My light sensor was not proper installed - but it was installed.

Is this OK for the QC? And yes. I tried to press it in but it wouldn't move.

Doors were installed but did they fit alright?

1/5" offset is OK for the QC or they only "check-mark" that the car has the doors installed? And yes. The door was closed not "half" open.

With that said, FORD got on the survey a 5 out of 10 in how the car looked like when I picked it up. Overall the survey for Ford and dealership including quality of the car (looking at it with the issues) was a 7 out of 10.
I did own in my life a couple of new cars and none of them did had this much alignment issues - some of them much cheaper in price and much better quality. I am still watching my display issue on my MyTouch 8". Switching the screen off in the evening when it is dark, it switches back on with no one touching it after a while. Switching it off again - it switches on again after a couple minutes.

I will watch how many recalls are coming in for the Mustang.
What months or time frame were the early productions ran? My car was made in Late December of 2014 and i dont have any gaps or any other issues like this what so ever.. Im guessing they worked most of the bugs out buy then maybe or what?

My Car was BLEND 18.10.2014 one of the 1st JOB#2 cars. When I did bring the Mustang in to fit hood and both doors, the service guy must have known something because he said to me: "Ohh yes. Sorry we can not do that in the service shop. We have to book it right away into the body shop. And we will check your NAVI monitor too there is a TSB for already....." They didn't touch my rear window and the alignment on the on the trunk. "If we cut the window out now in the cold their will be some leaks. Same for the taillights...."

In the end they didn't like to touch the wiring on the dashboard too. I have an issue that in the night when I switch off the screen it switches on by itself after a couple minutes. Specially out of town in the dark that annoys me like hell because you have to push two times the screen to switch it off again. First couple times it happened it "freaked" me out because I thought something is wrong with the car.

I was unaware that people couldn't vote through phones or ipads! W/today's tech I assumed problems like this wouldn't exist. Of course, I only use a flip phone w/o data. So if I use the internet it is on a laptop.

My issues:

1. Trunk misalignment - Have to slam it a few times to get it to close.

2. Hood misalignment - More space between right side/fender and there is more space along the right/front side of the hood and front bumper

3. Headlight switch rattle
