something weird is going on with these cars/dealers, myself and 2 others that i know have been bumped ahead 2 months from the estimate meanwhile it seems as if you all keep being bumped back. 4 months is goddamn joke to be delayed, did they give you any particular reason? pretty much anything ordered before aug now has a build order placed (according to their fb support) so those batches are set, although a feb 16 for a 2nd batch order was incredibly optimistic of the dealer and quite possibly you were given the wrong information to start with, i ordered in june 15 and was told aug, now i'm up to end of may/early june 16.

I can't get a peep out of the dealer... Ford on Facebook said:

"Hi Tim, your Mustang is looking at a delivery date of around June 2016. This would mean a production date of around April next year. This is only a forecast at this stage so we suggest you come back to us around February to see if there is any new information. We are working really hard to shorten the wait time for our Mustang customers "

My best guess is the dealer was overly optimistic to start with

Ordered 30th of june this year....so not expecting it anytime soon, eta is april/may next year, ordered a race red auto GT from sunshine ford on the gold coast. pretty awesome team there (so far)

I ordered mine on the 10th June 2015.
I have been advised of a probable build date of May 2016 with a probable delievery date of July 2016.
If you ordered yours on the 30th June 2015 and are getting it in April/ May 2016, you are extremely luckly to get it inside 12 months.
When was the last time your dealer gave you an update of the build / delievery time frame?

last update was thursday not last week but the week before, yeah i know i'm lucky but sometimes thats the way the cookie crumbles. from hitting rock bottom 3 years ago to being able to pay cash to buy the car outright, its been a struggle and a lot of hard work so its a nice change for once to get some good luck. i was originally told august 16 delivery but it got bumped up like 3 times since then.

Hi boys (and girls if there are any!).

I ordered a Deep Impact Blue Ecoboost in January 2015 from Metro Ford. Was initially told the delivery date would be January 2016, but got a call from Ford at the end of October saying it was now expected to be built at the end of November and I would get it in mid february. Fair enough, an extra 4 weeks isn't too bad.

Yesterday I asked for my VIN and after getting it, I've found out that my car was being built on the day Ford rang me (also happens to be my birthday and would have been the best present ever to be told that, but NO). So it's now been about 4 weeks since it was built and I'm waiting for it to be loaded onto a ship, which means february delivery should be about right.

Can't wait till it arrives, it been a long year in the making and I'm sure my missus is sick of hearing about it!

According to the WWL track and trace, it looks like the QLD mustangs on the Parsifal (32 of them)will be shipped back to Brisbane on 5/12 & arriving on the 9/12 on the Tiger!

Bloody frustrating as the Parsifal was in Brissy on 27/11!!! My dealer says that a week is the standard timeframe from receipt to delivery. So I'm tipping just before Christmas at this rate!:frusty:

Just got a call form Ford Australia!!!
Was told that my car will be built in Jan and ETA to me March 2016.
I was even given my VIN number for my car!!!! :clap2:
At least now I can track my car!

Fidelio is docked in Brisbane, with 13 Mustangs to unload. Mine is one of them
Of these Mustangs, according to the VIN numbers run through Etis;
1 is a convertible (EcoBoost) the rest (12) obviously fastbacks
4 are v8 (3 manual, 1 auto) the rest (9) are EcoBoost (all Auto).
Race Red is popular on this shipment, 5 coming off this boat in Brisbane.

Just went for a drive around the Port. Could see the Fidelio docked and plenty of cars around it. Didn't spot any mustangs though.

Just thought I might join the conversation. Ruby Red EcoBoost Fastback (Auto) ordered from Metro Ford on 5th May 2015 and the last estimate from my dealer was for a May 2016 delivery. I do have an NSC number though and have asked Ford Australia if they can kindly provide a better estimate.
