He'd still be perfectly fine. But after, I'd probably recommend an oil change just out of principle.you will be fine.... just don't track it "hard", if you are in beginner, intermediate or high intermediate, you are fine.
GT PP cars come with the same oil as the base: 5W20. You may be thinking of the previous gen Track Pack, which really had no reason to come with 5W50.The only reason FOrd recommends 5W50 is due to the track-oriented nature that they believe GT350 owners would be using their cars with. It's the same reason why Performance Pack GT's use 5W50 while non-performance pack cars can use 5w20 I believe it was. I wouldn't sweat it. Just drive with it unless you plan on tracking it
