Performance measurement for me will be my AX times relative to competition.
Surprisingly the tramlining wasn't an issue. However I would not trade this set up for the OEM for daily. They (wheels) are certainly lighter than stock, however the stock is just easier to drive on the street...
I couldn't find anyone running a 315 front so I thought you guys might enjoy seeing what you can fit on a GT350.
Also weighed the car after new wheels/tires and full Kooks exhaust - stock 3820, currently 3780 - full tanks.
Looking for either a staggered setup or not, want run 305/30/19 200 TW tires on all corners....mounted.
New or used - P51, MRR M600, other, etc, not looking to spend a fortune on forged set up. This is just AX.
Put my car on the scales today...full tank 3820lbs. Mods include BMR low profile jacking rails and two JLT Oil separators. Just thought others might like to know.
Getting full Kooks exhaust installed and wanted a baseline. I don't expect much difference but nice to know.
Z06
I have both currently (2009 Z06 and 17 GT350). What sublime said is spot on. I love the GT350 and would have a hard decision to make if I only had to have 1. The Z06 suffers from poor OEM tire options but can be improved if updated to MPSS. The speed differential is still...
I guess now that i'm thinking about it, what happens with the O2 sensor readings and i wonder how the ECM tries to compensate for gasoline stoich vs E85. Gas 14.7 while E85 is ~9.6. Seems like the ECM would constantly be fighting with changing the fuel trims.
Clarified Product
Very interesting due to the piggyback nature and no footprint left for potential warranty issues.
I also spoke to William today and the product is very simple...starts with the sensor that reads the alcohol content, sends that data over to a module that has a harness that...
My 2017 had a major leak this summer with only 1k miles on the odo. Dealer fixed it.
My instructions to the dealer, make sure all of the under-tray fasteners are all put back on. They called to tell that it was missing 8 fasteners and wanted to know who had serviced the car. Funny...
I installed on my own using 3M Pro. It came in pre-cut sheets. Great product, do some web searches on the self-healing properties.
About $600 for product and tools...front, behind front fender, rocker and bottom of doors, front of rear fender and mirrors.
We Might Know Each Other
Send me a PM if you don't want reveal your real name...mine is obvious.
