You are a brave man to be sure. However it does looks great and should pull a lot more heat. I'm always surprised when I shut it down and open the hood how much heat is trapped there.

Its pretty amazing how much heat builds up, especially after a session in the summer. Looks like guys are seeing 20-25 degrees of heat reduction

Nothing more nerve-wracking than cutting a big hole in an otherwise perfect hood.

My goodness brother. I had the hood ready for cutting for at least a week before I actually did it. Picked the drill up, put it down, and walked away many a time.

Looks nasty buddy, should defintiely expel some heat for sure!

And reduce some of that under hood lift at speed

The second hood idea was mentioned quite a bit, but I got nowhere to put a whole damn hood. Figured if I messed up I could just install a bigger hood vent lol.

Billet Badges is pretty easy to find for them, but they aren't always in stock. Vent attaches with a nut bolt configuration and makes for easy removal.

Wish me luck - gonna do the same, but on my roof... should be great mod for not only bringing more air and sunlight into the cabin, but a totally efficient and “green” way to dry my hair on the way in to work!!

Don’t freak out. Little known fact is that the GT350 emblems face different directions on both sides. It’s normal
