Pulling timing what does that mean? Tuner said the car wasn't spark knocking but it was pulling timing?

If it were bad gas you'd very likely see some knock sensor activity. There are a number of things that can pull timing, but the most frequently seen are knock sensor, temp and torque mgt.
But, as mentioned, talk directly with your calibrator and have them lay it out for you.

That's probably heat.Im running the roush phase 1 on my car and I've Wondered if my tune on my car would pull timing based on the torque management sensors. I swear sometimes my car seems much spunkier than others but I could be just getting used to the extra power. I feel if I ease into the throttle the car feels much stronger than if I just slam it to the floor.
Hope that tune shows up soon Beef, wanting to see how the throttle response changes.
