2018 Mustang GT Convertible with Performance Pack
Hi Everyone,

After much deliberation I pulled the trigger on a brand new 2018 Mustang GT Convertible with the 401A and the Performance Package. I decided on the Triple Black car with the PP as opposed to the White 2018 without it. It had 61 miles on it when I picked it up. Sadly I live in the Mid Atlantic, and it is too cold to drive it on the Pilot 4s tires. I had no choice but to drive it home of course and was super careful. It was right around 41 degrees so I took it easy. Here are a few pics from the showroom floor. View attachment 429065

Congrats! 18 leftover? Where is the pp1 rear spoiler? Have yet to see a convertible with one.

I drive my black 18 GT pp1 on PS4’s in 32 degree or higher as long as the roads are dry. Don’t sweat it.

It was a left over, they have a white 2018 GT with 49 miles on it as well. This one was spoiler delete. THANKS for the tip on the cold weather. I will drive it very easy on cold days, but I WANT TO DRIVE IT!! I already ordered the MRB H-pipe and the Magnaflow Competition axle back from CJ Pony. My next ride will be to the exhaust shop :giggle:

Opting for the convertible w/PP1 deletes the spoiler due to the difference of the trunk. There are various oem and aftermarket spoilers, I would personally attach a Cali Special wing.

Beautiful rig, I also bought new recently and had to put it away with 200 miles on it til April due to snow.
Hope the snowmobile keeps me going til spring.

Great choice. I rock the Magnaflow competition and am addicted to the chest pounding deep tone... I previously had the Corsa Extreme and switching to Magnaflow was the best decision I ever made. For me, muscle cars need that window shaking deep V8 sound.

Enjoy the new black beauty!

I drive mine in the low 40s/ high 30s all winter. The mps4s do just fine. I was worried at first but 2 winters of daily driving it and no issues. Nice ride!

How much did you snag it for? I also got a 2 year leftover. I really like it. I love all the S550’s but I love the pre 18 face the most

Glad to see you got a convertible! These cars look good without a spoiler, too.

Never mind all the naysayers. Black is a bit of work to keep clean, but the end result is well worth it.

Congrats bigfoot. Great car, use it in good health. First thing though.....Protect it. PPF definitely and ceramic if you can. At least those wheels. Black is hard enough as it is. Make it easier on yourself.

Nice car. I have a Kona blue car and believe me, you'll want to keep it clean..all the time. Bought a pair of waterproof gloves so I can wash and dry on "not" nice days.

Nice. The MY18+ GT with the A10 / PP is just fantastic, add in the 401a and you get an incredibly well rounded performance convertible. Sounds like it wasn't an Active Exhaust car, but you're getting things sorted out with an aftermarket setup (stock is just a bit too subdued).

It's been 75 degrees this past week around here, but a cold front did push through and it's a chilly 50 or so :D
