PSA - Ford Performance Racing School Mustang GT Student Cars Now Available

Hi All -

As the caretaker of one of the FPRS GT350s, I thought I'd pass along a bit of news I received from Tommy Rhinehart at the school earlier today. They are now selling the Mustang GT student cars. Sounds like they're all the same price - $25k. I don't know how many they have for sale or the extent of the modifications, but here's Tommy's contact info for anyone interested in digging deeper.

Yep - Just like the Rented Mule (Former FPRS GT350 #14).

In fact, the Mule continues to be rode hard - here we are at this year's TireRack / Grassroots Motorsports Ultimate Track Car Challenge......

If you're in the market, as it were, don't let the cars' history deter you..... some actually see it as provenance.

25k is awful rich ask though. I guess it's to keep the inquiries down to a manageable number.

Since they have roll cages, I'm guessing not.

Still, doesn't take away from the beating they took. I'd rather a street car that had its oil changed every 5,000 miles rather than a track car that had its oil changed every 100 miles.

I wonder if they come with maintenance logs. Would be nice to know how it was maintained and if any parts have been replaced….transmission in particular.
