Thanks TGR96
As much as I hate the stuff, it's PlastiDip. I wanted to play it safe, just in case it ended up looking cheap; figured if it didn't look as good as it did in my head, I could peel it off. Now that I know for sure that I do like it, I'll be painting it for real. I'll probably leave it until until I put the car away for winter and paint them then. Going to need time to do it right.

Thank you, bken1313
Really appreciate that! She's far from where I want to be, but she's getting there.
I'm hoping to have the '01 done by October, and if so then I'll be able to focus a lot more attention to the '15!

I think Ford should have offered the bezels in car color as a factory option after seeing yours! Good job!

Was out driving and decided to pull over and snag some pics today... Trying a new way of uploading so I don't have to resize them and make them look like fuzzy, pixelated crap.
Aaaannnnddd this still looks horrible :frusty:

Finally able to find a host that I can upload my pics to without being completely turned to crap! :headbang:

Update: Redline alcantara shift boot and e-brake boot should be here any day now; should pair nicely with the GT 350 steering wheel. Boomba short throw has also been shipped along with the Lambo style push-start cover, courtesy of ZackMD. Since I'll be installing the Boomba shifter the moment it gets here, I guess that also means I should also install the Steeda trans bushing insert and Steeda shifter base mount that have been waiting patiently... All of this combined should definitely make a nice difference.

Anyway, here's some more pictures. God knows I don't need an excuse to whore out pictures of my car, but I'm giving myself one anyway

Push-start cover from zackmd1 arrived yesterday morning. Very nice piece. Well thought out and impressive quality. Doesn't feel flimsy or weak at all. Painted it and threw it in the car.

Thank you! Where in Boston are you located? I'm always up for a cruise!

UPDATE: Took some time today to install Boomba's short throw shifter along with Steeda's transmission bracket and crossmember bushing. Personally, everything combined, it's perfect. MUCH firmer and shorter, but not too over the top like previous shifter units I've had. Throws are noticeably tighter and more planted- you know when it's in gear, but it's not like you're struggling with it to hit 1st. The 1.5" drop is much more comfortable, too. Installation was easy... took roughly 20 mins, or so of my time.

Steeda's transmission crossmember bushing was super easy to install. Some people have drilled holes into the center portion of the bushing to help relieve NVH; I considered it, but didn't bother. No regrets with that decision. NVH increase is noticeable, but very minimal IMO. The transmission bracket was a little more work to install. Nothing horrible, but not the most fun mod to do on your back either. Still, had everything out and reinstalled on this within 45 minutes. Both pieces, paired with the Boomba short throw and AMSoil synchromesh work together beautifully. They've created a new shifting experience.

Now I'm just waiting on the boots from Redline so I can get the bezel back in. Alcantara boots are going to look awesome with the GT 350 wheel :D

Ultimateone There are, but I haven't really seen any around us. I agree though, it would be fun to do before the snow hits!

Looking for some opinions:
I've been going back and forth on the idea of a spoiler. I really like the look of the car without one, but then I've been thinking the "right" one would look killer and complement the APR splitter. Ideas so far have been Dusold's/GT 350R. Personally, Dusold's may be the better choice as it would be a bit less common, has the matching rods, and isn't a Shelby specific part on a GT...
Did a little photo shopping. Let me know your thoughts, please! I appreciate any feedback :headbang:

Terminated the Dusold one looks pretty sweet, especially with your current splitter.

Out of the three options listed, I'd vote no spoiler. I definitely do not like the one with the angled splitter rods at all. I kinda like the 2015s with the Roush or the CDC spoilers myself.
