process no LT ? cats ?

already stepped down 4.50 pulley with only 6-7lbs ... with full LT cattless... figured id loose a few from them but not much .... 4.50" should put me back at 9 i would have thought.... this is endless ha

Stock manifolds and cats. I started with a 4.75" pulley which was around 11psi.

so we are pretty much running the same setup minus the e85, and you got 4.35 and 15lbs and im one smaller 4.50" and im at 6-7lbs...

hmmmm Can some one explain how much elevation would effect boost?

That's true for now I'm glad I kept my patience. They sent me a revision this morning and the idle is back to normal. I'll have the car on a dyno this afternoon.
Told ya that was easy fix.:cheers::headbang:

The advertised boost for these systems is off on most of the cars. I went to a 3.85" and I'm making 7.5psi with no cats. 575whp 467tq. I'm going down to a 3.60" pulley for 10psi. Me & BlueOval4x4 have Emerson working very closely with Eric Brooks (HP Tuners) & Diablosport to define some of the spark tables. When you are at part throttle and load on a supercharged engine, these tables must be changed everywhere. Even rolling into the throttle spark is being commanded, but what we are experiencing is the timing retard/spark retard. Meaning even if you command to add timing, the computer is getting a value that is limiting this. Both Diablosport & HP Tuners are still in development.

Has anyone seen 9lbs with stage 2?? I'm at 5.7 with just catbacks and no leaks?? Disappointed that I had to order another smaller pulley just to get it up to the claimed 9lbs.
On a 100% stock car, (no headers, no exhaust)
Running to full RPM, (7,300) without hitting the speed limiter (on a dyno)
The proper level is reached (all Beta cars leave here as that)

Hitting the speed limiter on a dyno = lower boost level
Exhaust changes = lower boost level
Modifying the tune, with cam changes = lower (or raise) the boost level
Lowering the Revlimiter = lower boost level

We have not had to send out a pulley for any customer that was 100% stock.
Each customer with lower then spec'd boost had either mods unknown, or a modified tune. (or install error such as way to loose of a belt)

I saw advertised boost with my stage 2. I'm now at 15psi with 4.385 pulley.
Those numbers are right in line with what we would expect.

White_Lightning, your numbers are abnormally low, looking for a loose tube, or bypass valve stuck open, should be checked. Something is not correct. (also make sure the boost gauge isn't in error, and check with second gauge)

Well in all fairness your customer service / sales guy did tell me the 4.385 pulley on a stage 2 with a d1 would only be 13psi.

This was verified with the dynojet boost gauge pulled off the procharger vac block.

The best they could do is an educated guess. ;)
Since D-1 pulleys are to be speced be the end customer or dealer.
Due to them going on modified applications. IE: not stock usually

And there are not a whole ton of combos to look at out there right now.
(The 2015 is pretty new platform, and lots of people with different mods)

Pretty close guess though you have to admit.
Since changing your revlimiter just a touch will move that number. :)
Shift at 7,000 and its likely pretty close to 13psi. :)

They usually spec on the "high" side, since nobody usually complains about to much boost. (shift early) However low boost is no good. :)

I just read elsewhere it's bad to reload a custom tune on top of a custom tune. I loaded yesterday's update on top of the original ProCharger tune. Is this a thing? Should I restore the factory tune and then reload the ProCharger tune on top of that?

I've been wondering the same thing.

Just got back from the dyno and the car is still not running like it should. The best pull was 468 @ 6500rpm. The car felt stronger yesterday but I installed the revision for the idle problem and now it feels like the timing problem came back. I think my patience has run out. I'll be ordering my Lund tune this week.

I was wondering about that as well?

We offer "tuner" kits, at discounted pricing to offset the costs of people that want custom tunes. :) This has been an option with every system we have sold for over 20 years. :)

If the tuner was changing the cam timing around, it can effect the boost level, or if you have headers or exhaust modifications.
we like tuner kits!!! :)

Ya im aware... shouldnt started with the tuner kit but wanted some time with the complete kit first... o well live and learn i guess...

Ya Im sure i lost boost from the headers but didnt expect that much... already installed a smaller pulley... 4.50" expected to be back at 9lbs at least... was shooting for 12lbs
dropping boost is ok, especially when you pick up hp

if it's the same person tuning it, it's not an issue
