As i read the two threads on this procharger kit for the first time today, i cant help but giggle like a little school girl in excitement. Cant wait for the numbers, since i was working on either a subtle single or twin turbo setup, but may go all american and do the procharger.

Dumb question, supercharge noob here. How does this thing breathe? Upgraded CAI? Does the stock V6 hood need modifying to get either more intake or more cooling? (We don't have the heat vents.)

That is for the Performance Pack EB. I think the non-PP is the same as the V6 because, as said, the tires.

So if i were to change my tires to summer slick tire i can go past the top speed? How is the tires retricting?

The tires can explode when spinning to fast. That is mostly because they are too soft/not designed for high speeds. Changing out for a max performance summer tire will/should allow you to go faster without risking a blowout.

Again I can't say for certain but I believe so.

11-14's were able to handle 420-440 RWHP and ~370TQ reliably on the stock bottom end.

The pro chargers usually max out around 405-420 RWHP on the previous gen on pump gas.

Obviously you need to take into account environmental conditions/supporting mods. That is where I am getting my numbers from.

I don't have the link but a member on another 3.7 forum I believe has been running procharged for 30k miles without issue. Usually if something major is going to break it will happen early on. The only things I might see being an issue are the cats. Over time they might get overwhelmed/burned out because of increased temperature.

Got it. 8 PSI seems to be a good value that the engine takes well. I personally would run 2 ish lower just to make sure that everything is fine. once something goes boom with FI, its serious...

I agree. If I got one I wouldn't go for max power because of the same fear. Our engine is pretty good from the factory though! Forged crank, forged connecting rods (still the weak point of the engine), and oil cooled pistons if they didn't remove that for 2015.

There are people pushing 500 rwhp+. It seems to be all in the tune for the 3.7s.

Hell there was a guy running a turbo and nitrous trying to blow the engine up so he could rebuild it - He was over 700 rwhp and didnt break anything.

CFM's "Fast yellow mustang" is close to 500rwhp and running mid 10s at 130mph on the stock bottom end.
