Alternatives you're considering? The usual suspects?
I'm really considering a turbo kit at this point however the price difference is hard to swallow right now. I can swing the 7k for a centrifugal SC but the 10-11k I would spend on a turbo kit is a kick in the junk. This is my first V8 car and I really want to try a SC because I've never experienced one. I've had many turbo cars so I know what they feel like and how they drive.

I just think the attitude by PC tech has made more of an impact than the actual issues. Since all the stage II people are trying to figure this out.

I agree with this on some of the responses. I feel the same about other vendors on this site as well. Some folks could really stand to learn about professionalism, courtesy and customer service. I may be over sensitive to it because we focus on this so much at work. There is a good reason for that though.

I know they are having some similar issues with turbo kits. I have had a member pm me with a hellion kit that was doing the exact same thing. I'm sure this will al be worked out shortly.

I hope that someone does soon. I would say that whomever figures out would gain some serious credibility for themselves and their product.

Well, all I know is I am going on a work trip for a month and will have my wallet boosted soon after. I have never owned a pony before and I really want to make the right choices. I work way to hard to feel like I made a bad choice with a large purchase.

ALL INFO IS VALUABLE HERE.

Please carry on with the great threads.

I think a Whipple is in your future! Had one on an 03 Cobra. It was fantastic.

If I can get the surging issue solved (which I hear is close) I'm good to go. Great power, awesome sound...so good. PC's lack of acceptance of issues with their kits is frustrating, though. From the inlet tube, to the BOVs, to the belt sizing, etc... Apparently only people who post on forums have issues. Everyday Joe's are doing swell...just ask PC!

You are a mad man. I am dropping down to the pulley you have now. Should feel pretty nasty, and now with E85 fuel system... can't wait.

Haven't taken any new vidz. I really need to put the go pro I got two years ago to use. Haven't even taken it out of package yet.

Strongly contemplating switching to E85 and going down a pulley or two. Boost is a wicked temptress...

I was in the fence for a while because I didn't really want to spend the $$ on a new fuel system. Some guys are running E85 without changing out the pump, but Lund won't tune E85 with a SC unless you change it all.

I eneded up going with the fore fuel system from beefcake. He is ordering me a new pulley as well, looking for around 15lbs of boost.

I'm going to give E85 a try tomorrow, assuming I can get Brooks to do some same day log revisions so I'm not stranded somewhere with a full tank of E85 and a non-drivable tune. If I can keep my current boost level and just add more timing more consistently, that's all I'm shooting for. Whatever the power numbers are, they are, but E85 makes so much more sense for E85 than pump gas, the more I read up. It's certainly not going to be less powerful.

If that doesn't work out well, I might drop pulley size back to 5" and run less boost on pump gas to get more timing more consistently, even though the fun of having boost down low will be affected.

I was going to go that avenue too (brooks) but for the price of the new hand held tuner and remote tune, it would cost 900. New fuel system is 1395 shipped... sell the JMS bap and be into the new fuel system only another 100 over getting hp tuner and new tune. Makes more sense to spend the extra 100 bucks to have a full fuel system than using stock pump on e85.
