We have NOT told anyone to change their valves.
(unless their HP level is very elevated, then its suggested they do)

You called in, and wanted to know what upgraded valves there were.
Nate and you discussed the Bullet, and was under the impression that is what you wanted. If you would like me to cancel this order on your Bullet Valve.
Not a worry here, Just send me a PM and let me know what you would like to do.
Conversation went like this.

Me: I am gettting some surging at 3-5K at WOT.

PC: What kind of boost are you running?

Me: I am running a 4.5" pulley that should be in the 13-14 psi range

PC: Are you running the Proflo?

Me: Yes.

PC: That can be the issue. It is usually only good for 12-13 psi and then it is out of its range.

Like I said. I am willing to work with anyone (Ask Jim Bell) but pointing the finger back at the tune when it can't be the tune is an issue.

So the tune makes the car surge? Is that what PCs "official stance" is?

it was pretty easy for me to install the inlet pipe. i just stuck my arm thru the opposite side and pushed up on the parts that weren't going over the edge of the inlet and went right in. i actually like the tight fit cause i know it will be on there nice and tight. i installed the kit in 5-6 hours alone(first time installing a superhcarger).

Same issue I ran into when driving a stock Procharger tuned car.

Hey guys, I just got an amazing tune from Lund. It pretty much deleted my imrc and drives better than stock. No timing pull on mixed 93/100, feels terrific. I have my stock manifold back on with this tune. It looks really promising. Hoping it makes power because it sure feels great! Have a good weekend!

Please send me the following:

Serial Number of Blower
Data Log (about 15 seconds long, when it does this)
And contact info

To [email protected]

I watch all the tuning emails, and I am not kidding when I say I have not seen an email, or tech service log noting this (with a stock kit/system)
Somethings not right, we will get you squared away.

well i can honestly say i been subscribed to this thread from day 1. I wanted a PC from the beginning. I have made up my mind to take a pass.. I want more than 600 at the tire im looking for the 800 plus and Kenny Bell is the way im going. PC stance on this issue has moved me away from their product. I am done with this thread best off luck with the guys here that have spend thousands off dollars and have issues with their setups.
Sorry to loose one, :(

Our stance is simple we support our system, our tune.
We can not support issues due to flawed installs, or custom tuning/boost/fuel

Most vendors that had something to hide, would just leave the forums.
We have been here since day one, through thick and thin.

Well... i have gone and done it now... ordered a smaller pulley and fuel system from Beefcake to run E85.

Procharger - can I get one of those new inlets, if you have any laying around? I am not currently running one.
I will include that in your order.:headbang:

So it wasn't sent out yet? Lol

Another turn. That was supposed to leave two days ago with everything else. Again told something wrong.
I wouldn't be able to know that.

I don't know your name, your serial number, I didn't take the order, and I am not in the shipping department. All I stated was that if you didn't want the item, I will gladly get it handled to return it/refund your money.

Maybe it's not the valve. Maybe it's the placement of the valve? Where it corresponds to the blower outlet?
Plenty of cars out there, same valve, same system, no issues.
Again, this is a HUGE HUGE forum, and we sell LOTS of kits.

Other then today, is the FIRST time I have seen a complaint about our stock kit, with our stock tune. One, that says something....

Now that is the killer news that everyone wants to here that has the same tuner as you! :):headbang:

I have also been subscribed and watching this thread since the beginning. I have been studying and absorbing info to complete my choice of PC, Whipple or Boost Works/KB

I must say I was intrigued with the PC, but after following this thread I think that PC is crossed off the list. I am a perfectionist and this kit seems to be far from perfect. Thanks to all for the info and input, it is great that we have these resources at our finger tips to research a quite big purchase. I feel sorry for all those that took the PC plunge to end in such frustration...Best of Luck to you all, it has to end at some point I hope.
Thanks Again!!

I was thinking the exact same thing today. Before I ever bought my GT I was planning my FI parts. When I first saw the PC kit I thought, that's what I want. I don't like buying into something early on so I waited until there was more feedback on the kit. Glad that I did. There definitely is something going on and for me, whatever can go wrong, will. That's how it is for me whenever I do a project. I know I would have the belt and surging issues that other folks have.

Here's a bit of business advice for Procharger. If you have customers out there having issues with your kit, whether or not other kits have the same issue, it is in your best interest to help solve it. It doesn't matter if this is something users, installers or tuners are causing. You should be able to see that this having an impact on revenue and reputation. If I were you, I would figure out how to recreate the surging issue so that you can address it with customers. You should want to have hard evidence that it is not the kit but some parameters that tuners are setting or some other thing. The belt sizing should be a no brainier to fix and is simple enough to that it should only happen once.

Mistakes happen and are easily forgivable when they are addressed quickly. At my company we sometimes have to spend money that wasn't planned for to correct an error. We do this to ensure that our customers walk away raving fans. That pays dividends down the road. That money will come back to you. These issues seem to be widespread enough so justify in house testing to put this to bed.

Best of luck to everyone working through these bugs.

Alternatives you're considering? The usual suspects?

I just think the attitude by PC tech has made more of an impact than the actual issues. Since all the stage II people are trying to figure this out.
