Turbos do not take horsepower to make horsepower. A blower does. Turbo will be much more efficient at the same boost than a blower. In short.... turbos rule the world for-evahs.Nah not yet. I just find it hard to believe how much better the twin turbo power looks at so much lower boost. On 91 octane. I'm going to have to run E85 on 50% more boost with a Procharger to touch that. Hard to understand.
Tapatalk spelling errors inside!

I got a question also ... Vortech and Paxton look the same in the pictures , are they the same unit with a different name on them like VMP and Roush ?Here's a question I'm wondering about... Would vortechs 8 rib kit work on the procharger if you got a 8 rib procharger pulley.
You're crazy, procharger has spent 1000s of hours engineering their kits. You just don't know how to install a belt. There are 100s of S550 cars with your pulley combo running that same belt. /sarcasm.Well I am still down.
Thanks Procharger for sending the wrong belt in the first place.
K080660 is still too short. The belt just rides off because I cannot put any tension with the tensioner on it. Way too tight.
I will step up to the K080670 which is an inch longer. What did everyone else end up with?
The thing is I am even using the 4.5" pulley which is smaller and you would have thought that the belt PC sent would have been too long. Nope. Looks like I will just email the President again cause this is stupid. I have seen at least two other complaints about the belts being too short and PC just sticks their head in the sand saying it fits all the other cars.
Lol.You're crazy, procharger has spent 1000s of hours engineering their kits. You just don't know how to install a belt. There are 100s of S550 cars with your pulley combo running that same belt. /sarcasm.
Right on, my Dad was stationed in Hawaii briefly but I never got stationed there when I went in. KBay would have been awesome lol.Well the belt that was sent (Bando) was K080653 (PC labeled it K080655) and it is 65 7/8". Wouldn't even go on in anyway.
The belt I bought today was a K080660 which is 66 1/2" and it walked off. I could get it on but there was so much tension on it. Like I said it just walked off.
Going to try and find a K080670 which is the next size up according to Gates. It is 67 1/2" long. Maybe that is the one. I have a Gates book after my Kenne Bell days.
So a hundred dollars later I might, might have the correct belt. We will see.
Thanks for the Anniversary wishes. Hawaii after the first 6 months is just another place to live. Benefits of being in the military I guess but I have seen my fair share of shit holes as well over the last 24 years.

Technically that is not true.Turbos do not take horsepower to make horsepower. A blower does. Turbo will be much more efficient at the same boost than a blower. In short.... turbos rule the world for-evahs.![]()
