That first 1.5" to 2.5" could be cutoff on the right. That will put it closer to the head unit.
Agreed. Did they send a coupler that will fit the 3.75" SC inlet or do you still have to fight the old one on and chop it up to work?

Alright guys, got back from the test drive.

It worked! Pulled nicely to 7k. Idle is smoother and everything just seems to be a lot better!

I just had to hack up the updated inlet about 3 inches to fit it properly.

I will be looking at a better option in the future, but at least I can get my data logging done.

Do us all a favor and send us a pic of how yours turned out. Any power numbers to go with the non-collapsing original?

Here she is. Cut about 3 inches off it. Did a lot of datalogging tonight with plenty of 7k pulls, no issues. It kinda sucks I had to cut the tube and it wasnt just ready to go. Makes it feel cheap for the amount of money I paid for all this. But whatever, it works. Ill probably upgrade to to the metal one in the works or something.

In regards to power. The car feels smoother with this updated non flexing wall inlet. If yours is shutting at high boost, trust me youll know.

How is it at partial throttle where the surging is?

Yeah, I was trying to enjoy mid throttle driving tonight and its just a beating on my car. Are all blower kits this jumpy and surge prone? I don't remember my PD blower on another car being anything like this.

It was bad on the base tune. On the second revision which im running now, things are a lot smoother. I dont really notice it much anymore unless im really trying to make it do it.

It was slightly masked in my street tune but the race tune makes like 25 more torque across the low rpm curve so im debating which one is more important, smooth or more powerful

To be honest, I dont street race much and at your power level theres not a lot that can touch you out the box. Stick with the smoother one. But explain this race tune more. I feel like I lost some low rpm torque with this setup...

Call PC techs line let them know whats going on, they can send you a revised elbow.

Are only the race BOV people having the issue because of the interference?

Did Phil have a Race BOV?

To everyone working the kinks with the IMRC, I assume everyone connected the vacuum line into the intake of the PC, if so, did anyone try a restrictor? Considering the increase in vacuum when the blower is suckling air, it could help the PCM get a more familiar signal and allow it to compensate better for the part throttle switch over.
