If you don't have one get one of these:

I don't recall any difficulty getting all 8 out. Never removed anything but the plastic covers and STB.

I used a swivel and had no problems. Just be sure not to cross thread it back in.

I use the old school method putting plugs in. Get a 6 to 8" fuel line hose and squeeze the spark plug into it and use it to lightly thread the spark plug into the head.

They're not that bad. If you can handle a supercharger you can do headers.

Be aware that you have to pull the battery box to get to the farthest aft passenger side plug.
Na, did mine without doing that. I had to put the plug socket into the hole first then mate it up with the swivel and extension.

I am still thinking about it. If it wasn't near 100 outside even in my garage it would not be as big of an issue. Supercharger was a personal goal I have done headers on many other cars. ;)

I hear you, I used to live in The Woodlands when I had my Boss 302 and did the headers in June.

Its not that bad if you have the right tools. It does take 8+ hours and you are on your back for 90% of it. Swivel ratcheting wrenches are a must!

I would assume one would use one step colder plugs with smaller gap when boosting. I know in the SVT Lightning world when we install aftermarket SC and increase more boost we always do this.
When I have my Procharger Stage II installed next week I'll have colder plugs and smaller gap to avoid blowout. I think it's a no brainer to do this.

Its nice that these cars use the same one heat range colder plug as the HEMI guys do... so its made them very commonly available at most parts stores.

The NGK's should come pre-gapped at .32
Which is exactly how I throw them in, and never have seen an issue in years.

:)
