Yes, a slight twist should help.
I'll keep twisting it until I get the best position I suppose. Taking off the bumper was probably the biggest pain in the ass lol.

I'm in the same step I noticed it becomes kind of flat. I'm tempted to trim it abbot but I wonder if when the car starts running will it expand again.
Ha, well you are about a day ahead of me. Just getting done with the OPG and was putting the thermostat back on and thought I'd do a step towards the PC install. Sounds like it is what it is. On other vehicles I've had that lower hose would have more of a pull on it and suck flat, just wanted to see if there was a trick. Betting there is a better hose from another make/model that might fit, no time for that though, have to just get through the install.
Thanks.

Mine fit fine with a bit of twist. No trimming needed. Once you get it all together tack a pick if you have a concern. This place is a wealth of information and we will get you through it.

I'll be doing opgs the beginning of next year. I won't be driving my car too much either way.

:doh:Take a pic, that is
I'll take a pic tomorrow, I was finishing up the OPG install and wanted to get things back together, haven't hooked the hose up yet, was just eyeballing it. Probably going to work out fine. Thanks

Well it sucks im missing a spacer for the main bracket, the 3.138" spacer. I only received one instead of two so I'm stuck.

Also I can't figure out how to bolt one of the idler pulleys. The one without he spacer I can't seem to be able to fit the 3/8 x 1-1/2 " bolt in the bracket. Am I missing something here.

I don't have a spacer of that size listed on my main bracket bag. I haven't ripped it open yet.

Do you have one listed and its not included, or do you need it and its not listed?

It's not listed check the paper that comes attached to the main bracket. It says 3/4" DIA x .343 I'd x3.138lspacer then it says one. Now go to page 17 on the book and it clearly shows you need two.

We must have different packages - I have stg2 p1. It doesn't list that spacer. It list
(2) 3/4 DIA X .343 X 4.068 and another with 4.568
(1) 3/4 DIA X .250 X 1.165

and bracket instructions are 0n page 20

Ok so they send me another wrong threaded bolt. I wonder if they were in a hurry and just didn't check to well. The bolt that bolts the idler pulley closest to the top is not the correct thread. I have to go and search for one now.

This should help you size it.

I matched yours with mine and I do see they forgot both that bolt and the spacer smh. I could've been finished with the install.
