Made 578/465 through the A6 on my 2014 GT with 10lb of boost with full exhaust and a pretty simple tune. Driveability is very good and because of how Centri blowers work its awesome around town and just pulls like a freight train.

When you say a simple tune do you mean a safe tune? And which head unit do you have because any p1 or d1 should be at 650 rwhp on 10lbs of boost!

simple ie a/f, safe spark, good driveability but no VCT adjustments. Basically since I didn't have access to a dyno theres no easy way to quantify gains/losses due to VCT adjustments.

D1x head unit. But I'm not S550. 2014 Mustang GT

Eric, you already flipped the coin!!!
I know I’m terrible. Can’t make up my mind between he D1x or a whipple. Considering just doing the D1x then using some savings there for other mods but idk yet

For what its worth, belts can be changed on the pc in 15 minutes pulleys in 10 minutes, sc oil in 10 minutes life is easier with the procharger stage 2 set up!! Turn around time for pc after ordered 10-14 days for the whipple 6 weeks minimum!

Do whipples even need their oil changed every 6000 miles though? Playing devils advocate here. But I think most newer positive displacement blowers say 100,000 miles I think.

Yes they do but not as often! Every 100,000 miles if your motor lasts that long... lol!

Me and a buddy were checking out a guys Procharger the other day. Looking at the blower the owner said it came with a tamper evident cap that voids the Procharger warranty if you switch pulleys. He said that was the only reason he hadn’t tried a smaller pulley. Funny he said he’d tried getting the cap off and couldn’t figure out how without destroying it.

with the d1x you don't need to pulley down, the standard pulley gets you 13 lbs of boost... that's over 800 rwhp on e-85 and over 700 on 93 pump...your warranty is up in a year so if your worried about it then wait a year....lol
