Anyone have dyno results on the d1x? how is the drivability, etc. Looking to see how everyone is liking this set up? Stuck between this and a whipple gen 3 to get on the car soon.

Thanks!

Love mine i made 723/519 on 93 pump and bap with the standard pulley. Boost is right at 13lbs. My car’s Drivability is perfect. Im using the stock cams a gt-350 intake and tb. I had a paxton 2200 sl my last car and the d1x boost comes in much earlier then that blower! The car is an animal as i have an auto with a stall speed! If i go e85 and a fuel system it will make 100 more wheel easily. I will see if i go that route later. Right now i got my hands full!

My car with an F1A made 736/590 and it was on 15 pounds. It was on a 93 tune with a bap and it let go. Was on low timing and it broke a ring land in cylinder 5. Be careful with that thing man. I had ID1000's as well. You need a fuel system to run this kind of boost on 93.

Yep my d1 did the same thing,it made 726 on 93 and octanium but I think that tune was to hot for just 93 and when i ran it on 93 it wiped out 6 and 7.If I were u I would put e85 on it just saftey,u don't have turn it up.When I put my d1 on my 17 auto and they had trouble tuning it on 93 I put a fuel system in

Drivability is great with any Procharger since the power is linear which makes it feel like a giant c.i. motor. Aside from the sound, it really drives like a stock car with way more pep under any throttle input until you get on it! Although, if you’re going to run a blower that makes 700+whp I would suggest doing a return fuel system and using e85 to help it run cooler and keep it happy under pressure.

the way the car drives, should not be affected by the larger head unit, thats the nice thing about a centri, even with large head units, they will drive like stock til you lay into it

Super happy with D1SC, Im sure the D1X is everything it is and more. Honestly with E85 the car struggles even with 305 drag radials at 50mph unless the road is super hot.

I think Whipple makes more low end. But honestly, unless you have a built motor the D1 can easily max out a stock bottom end. I'm waiting for the next redesign to go all out. Maybe 2020. Right now I'm D1, Pypes headers, Exedy clutch, and going to install the Sai Li fuel system that is sitting my garage this spring so I can run e85. As it is, the car is an animal. I have the MT82 and the car will get sideways even at 80mph in 3rd gear. So not sure how people run cars making 800+whp. I'm probably close to 700whp, and will be over 700whp when I pulley down and run e85 but thats it. I'm done with this car. My next car will be a built motor turbo car, but Im really enjoying what I have right now.
