We just finished up the final design and made jigs. I'll be putting out a post here shortly with details, dyno, and pricing. I will have these available in the next week or so.
I dont care about dyno numbers...just take my money..:hail:

I agree 100% that they need to reply. This is my car and this is the second issue I have had with this blower. First time was a bearing failure. They stood behind it and repaired the unit. Now this happen today. I had the Procharger installed by another shop, when that shop couldn't get the tune right I took it to Boost Works. They have been great and very detailed. I know they will get this worked out. As for Pro charger they should take notice and if there is internal damage stand behind it. One reason I went with them is their reputation in the racing community of doing just that!

As for the guys at Boost Works I'm positive they will have a expediant solution and have me back on the road ASAP! No fault of theirs but this has been three miserable months of downtime.
Thanks Michael! Lots of bugs, but we'll get it iron out. We always do! :)

I can't find the PS-1 elbow on your website? I clicked intakes and nothing shows up at all ..In fact every tab I clicked on showed nothing ..
That's because the site isn't finished.. ;) We're working on it. It's been a crazy year thus far. New shop move, and lots going on with turbo kit development in the mix.

i actually had my concerns of the rubber hose...wouldnt a straight connector from the supercharger inlet to a 90 pipe (or less drastic bend), then another straight connector to the intake fix this?

For those that didn't see my thread, this happened to me as well and DID damage the compressor. Still waiting to get it back from them and no, they didn't warranty anything. I didn't have the "stock" elbow which was eaten but another elbow, not that it matters, CLEARLY. Since this thread concerns their latest elbow, I'm really bothered now about this. If Vortech would offer a remote mounted supercharger, I would never have gone ProCharger in the first place after reading all the threads about the early kits. Their customer service leaves so much to be desired that I won't use PC EVER again after this experience. PC will come in and defend their product and say that tons of people run their kits with no problem, blah blah blah. Same as they always do but it's a design flaw and it's clear as day. I'm still crossing my fingers that it didn't take my motor with it.

Looks like you got lucky in this case but good for you.

Best of luck with the car though.

Man this is disappointing to read yet again another Pro Charger serious issue. I was so excited to get the PC kit and after last year all the issues I decided not to now seeing this im so glad I went a different direction. I'm sorry for all the guys that have PC and have problems..

I have to agree with sonic, I want to eventually go forced induction. Hopefully they can sort this out.

Thats twice I have seen this now!
This is the first time we have seen this with OUR part.

Literally out of thousands of kits now out on the market.
(just take a glance at FB, Instagram, or any S550 group and you can tell that number is valid)

Plus this tube has been used for over a decade on other systems such as....
HEMI's
CAMAROs
TRUCKS (even my personal truck)
other MUSTANGS

.....all with a Zero failure rate till now. (and oddly with a dealer, that makes a competing inlet)

I urge this dealer to get ahold of me, ASAP

NOTE: That tube comes uncut, and needs to be trimmed to fit per the instructions, to make sure it clears everything without pressing on the tube. If the tube is "dimpled" in any manor, you create a stress point that can lead to collapse. (though that would have to be a fairly large dimple)

Your tube was NOT our part.
We can not warranty parts customers supply themselves.

We are now going to build an inlet for this setup. The 8 rib on this system pushes the supercharger forward a tad, and requires a compound bend to clear. So, it'll be a bit more challenging.
Seems you have found the issue. IF that tube wasn't trimmed to fit proper, then it will lead to failure.
So am much as I hate seeing damage like this, (and being this is the first I have seen it, anywhere on the internet)
I am going to have to chuck this up to install error.

LOL

"we have tons of cars running this part, they all work, THEREFORE no matter what your experience is, it cannot for any reason be our fault".

It honestly doesn't look like any type of failure or defect in the universe would ever be accepted as valid by you, no matter what it is.

Have you even contacted BW to confirm that it was an install error? Your customer support looks like utter dog crap right about now, I really hope future customers are taking notes here.

Not trolling here but their response seems pretty legitimate. If they are selling tons of these kits and have no reported failures except for 1 or 2, that does not indicate there is an issue with the product. And if you're using something not supplied by them it's ridiculous to assume they should warranty anything. That would be like trying to get Ford to warranty your aftermarket exhaust.

Is it concerning? Sure it is...but this doesn't mean all PC superchargers have an issue and their response was far from insulting or demeaning. Honestly Boost Works should have talked to PC before advertising they are offering a replacement product in order to avoid a conflict of interest.

Wow, on the response post from PC...they make a part that has room for a small amount of user error (trim a hose) and when it fails they blame the user who followed their directions... I've been really leaning towards PC but this response may push me in a different direction.
