I currently have a gates green belt on my stage 2 D1x. I put it on after breaking the OEM belt. it broke on a very cold morning start-up 1 week after the install. I currently have 2 spare RPM belts in case I have any issues with the green belt. So far the gates green belt has been flawless...

More coefficient of friction on ribbed surface on RPM vs green work van belt.

I Hear that if the tension isn't set perfect on the rpm belt it can snap. how do you set it so it doesn't snap?.

I set it per Prochargers recommendation, never had a belt issue ever with this kit.

Not sure if this might have any relevance but on my 2004 Marauder with P1SC I had part throttle surging and it ended up being the EGR duty cycle so we reduced it to about 30% and it was gone!!

1) There is no adjusting the RaceValve (even though the internet thinks there is) just leave it how its set from the factory.

2) Seems like you are losing your boost/vacuum reference, check for pinched line, leaks, hot spots etc. Thats NOT compressor surge that you are hearing, since that surge would happen on Decell Not Accell.

3) Triple check everything, make sure you have the vacuum manifold on the correct side of the factory check valves.

All I know is when you find the issue, you will have a certified ripper on your hands. :)

oh it rips now. Car scares the shit out of me every time I get on it. I’m actually thinking now that it could be spark blow out. It only happens in the upper rpms andI have gotten a flashing cel a couple of times. My plugs are at .025 right now I may set them to .020 and see if that helps
