Ever since I installed my Procharger I've been able to here my BOV or so I thought. It always sounded like it was fluttering when I'd let off the gas while shifting. Today I removed my Facia to install T bolt claps and I noticed that the vacuum line going to the valve had been cut and was not putting any vacuum to the valve. I reconnected the vacuum hose and finished putting the other clamps on. Now I can't here my BOV at all. Is this a normal thing for the pro flow surge valve or do I have a problem?

YIKES, so you bypass valve has just been flapping in the breeze?
Not good. That can cause major drivablity issues, and low boost.

You should hear a whoosh, or psssssst. Depending on how and when you let off the gas, and how much boost its making.

So if the bypass valve wasn't actuating, were you actually hearing compressor surge when letting off the gas then? As opposed to the whoosh or pssst...

Likly, just depends on if the valve was shut or open.
If its open, low boost and no surge.
If it was shut, boost, but then compressor surge.
