Hello everyone, I just started having an issue with my car and not sure if its tune related.
First off, its a Procharger P1 Stage 2 with DW 95lb injectors.

OK, so the car idles, accelerates and drives perfect. It pulls hard up until 7k rpms and then it feels like the rev limiter kicks in. At first I thought I was having spark blowout so I replaced all my plugs with new 6510s and gapped them at .028 and still the same thing (my old 6510s looked fine). I then asked my tuner about this and he said the rev limiter is set much higher than 7k rpms. Seems like this issue came out of nowhere. Can someone decipher this datalog and maybe help me locate the issue?

Thanks in advance,
Sal

You are getting 2.8 degrees of knock starting around 5k. You will feel the power soften with all the timing being pulled.

If you have an auto car, there are multiple spots that have revlimiters in them.

I have seen engine revlimters set to 7,500
But trans limiters set to the stock 6,850

Make sure ALL of them are raised, not just the ones related to the engine.

Hope that helps.

He said "cuts out" which I would think is a little more then soften power.

Plus 2.8 degrees is hardly noticeable, maybe 20-30hp.
Would be hard to actually feel that on the street.

Yes helps, however, this just started and it never cut power before. Have you seen tunes reset the rev limiters without being flashed? I am on HP tuners software and use the sct to datalog. And yes, this is an auto car.

Nope, never seen a tune change once flashed.
(Other then small adaptations for things like trans function, idle, etc)

Aren't you the one who had issues with your tuner making garbage tunes for your transmission a few months ago?

The car was running perfect after Ryan tuned it, this issue arose about 2 weeks ago and nothing was done to the car prior.

If it was good to begin with it's definitely not the tune. Close plugs to 0.026" and see if it stops. Screams spark blowout to me. If not maybe poor quality fuel on this fill up.
