More concerning is what happened to the red/yellow/green guidelines?
I am hoping they are in the settings somewhere but have not had a good look yet.........

Edit
Never mind I see the answer.......

Check and double check your new cars paint and panel fit

For anyone about to pick up their new Mustang my advice is to not expect to take delivery of it on delivery day. Take your time. Arrange a pre-inspection. You are entitled to do this even if your dealer appears not to want you to.

I know this is hard when you've waited so long.

Take a paint expert with you if you're not confident about knowing what's acceptable and what's not. Inspect the car thoroughly and expect there will be problems (if not, you've lost nothing and you're very lucky).

Better you reject the car before handing over your money. It's then in the dealer's interest to find a remedy quickly so you can drive your new beast home.

If there are paint faults I don't recommend accepting "we'll fix it at the first service". You'll get the car home and you'll be deeply disappointed. Once you own the car how do you know they'll fix it to look any better?

I've been through this unfortunately - and so it seems many others. The car is otherwise great but shame on Ford for asking us to accept poor quality. Anyone would think they've just started building cars.

Just had my driver's side pony projection lamp replaced under warranty at my 3,000km inspection. I wonder whether they've fixed the problem, or is this one is going to go in a few months too?

I got a look at the old one. The pony "template" that the light shines through must be absolutely **tiny**, as the aperture the light shines through is only a few mm in diameter. Unfortunately, I wasn't allowed to keep the old one to dissect it.

Couldn't agree more with this.
Seriously, once you've accepted the vehicle, you've removed any urgency that the dealership may have had in the delivery of your vehicle. You're basically relying on them to be smart enough to view you as a repeat customer.
Given the high turnover of staff at some dealerships, they might not even be able to see past the end of the month, let alone a year or five ahead of themselves...
Sucks, but it's true.

Mine has gone the same, Drivers side........Have been told the template is paper (go stand in the corner Ford) and the New improved ones are plastic :headbonk:

and now I've noticed by passenger's side one is going too (I wonder whether Titan Ford will accept my word for it this time and order a part in advance without having seen it???)

Sent my dealer (McInerney's) a picture of my drivers side one - which is a very fat pony now and he has two new ones waiting for when she has her 3K service. The passenger side is ok still, but obviously by what everyone is saying, it will only be a matter of time.

Was driving along this morning with auto headlights switched on. The headlights were switched on (with my gauges set to orange on my dash). I drove into sunlight and normally my dash gauge colours change from orange to white (when the headlight auto switch off). This time my dash went into darkness with no dash lighting?? Only lasted for about 20 seconds but very odd. Anyone else experienced this?

Yes that has happened to me - just assumed it was the sensor kicking in. Headlights went to off as I drove into sunlight when it happened.

Don't think it's anything to worry about. Just a delay in the sensor.

Had mine a couple of week now. No issues at all.

Nah seriously though, enjoy the car. It's awesome, flaws and all.
