Was driving along this morning with auto headlights switched on. The headlights were switched on (with my gauges set to orange on my dash). I drove into sunlight and normally my dash gauge colours change from orange to white (when the headlight auto switch off). This time my dash went into darkness with no dash lighting?? Only lasted for about 20 seconds but very odd. Anyone else experienced this?
same here #Jostang...once again a feature I am told ! Though on a more serios note I havent spoken to Ford about it...let me know if you do and what response u get

they have ! :) (will let me know when it arrives in stock)

They are now stocking the driver's side one - but not (yet) the passenger's side one
Fucking incredible!
No actually the parts guys there are very good. It's the other areas they are severely lacking.

Just going through this list. There seem to be lots of niggling stuff, but nothing too egregiously bad or catastrophic. I think we can safely say that all the things we heard about US build quality, as a broad rule, were true (I was only familiar with '60s US cars). And I don't think the niggling things can be expected to improve, so we just have to put up with it and make sure it's all fixed up at delivery (or before delivery rather) or under warranty.

The most frequent somewhat more serious issue (aside from the unexciting exhaust sound :)) is that "walking over a loose manhole cover" sound when putting into gear/reverse on the autos, but even that isn't a disaster. Luckily the good aspects of the car clearly outweigh the bad. I've not heard anything that makes me say, "hell, I must cancel my order immediately".

Would that be a fair summary?

Thats water in the paint
Looks like it. It's in an obscure place so it should be able to be touched up in a way you won't notice. But don't leave it too long as water could be travelling under. I can't tell if there's bare metal at play or undercoat at the bottom of that bubble.

Sorry really bad pic now i look at it (from another persons view point)
Looks like some moisture was caught in tooling marks before it went into top coat.

Get it to the dealer and have them fix it under Warranty.

Good luck Brad.

Are the cars still getting half painted with black paint all over everything underneath?

Unfortunately yes. I've tried to have this process omitted for mine but my dealer says he cannot have any effect on this. All this because they refuse to properly finish the diff housing and tail shaft properly in the first place!?

is it cause its not painted? and raw cast iron/steel? and has surface rust on it or is it cause of the quarantine reasons?
