What's with the radio delete but has back seats..? Makes no sense to me.
For the first couple of years of production you could order a rear seat kit to retrofit a back seat in an R.
Ending in May 2018 because of the federal mandate that all cars must have reverse camerasā€¦. One could order what is known as a ā€œbase Rā€ sans radio and A/C.

'18 Kona Blue Base R, 16k miles, with rear seats and looks like no CF wheels. $70k

If you can get past the 16k miles, the car is a buy. I would do two things..... first, the back seat would go. That would fetch a pretty penny on the market. Next, I would get a set of CF wheels. They could be had for 10k. The sale of the back seat and the forged wheels (which appear to have titanium lugs) would offset the cost of the CF wheels.

I dont think it was tracked based upon the back seat and general condition. Its a shame about the wheels.... either the seller sold them off or decided to not include them in the sale when he let the car go.

I was very close to pulling the trigger on an R until learning the rear set retrofit was no longer available. Two young daughters that were very focused on back seat rides landed me in a ā€˜regularā€™ 350. Have since done the suspension and added forged wheels / better tiresā€¦ should help close the gap

Donā€™t feel bad - at least you got the fastest color. ;)

Tom, the wheels look like these. If thatā€™s the case the new buyer will have to pony up a lot more for the carbon fiber wheels even if selling the rims currently on the car.

Are we allowed to mention non-R cars in this thread anymore?
