Just sold my 2014 V6 camaro because I want to upgrade to a V8. I'm looking at the 2015 GT and 2015 SS. I will be test drive my both but just wanted some feedback from previous camaro owners that switched to Mustang... Question is..
Would you come back?
If so, why?
If not; why?

Thank you all so much.
I have a '12 SS that I am trading if my GT ever shows up. It's a nice looking car and have had zero problems.10K mi's. It was not all I hoped it would be in the power dept. My '13 GT500 is everything I hoped it would be. It is a flawless, beautiful, FAST, car.
The GT500 is a big reason I'm buying the GT.

I have owned 28 vehicles in my 28 years of existence, with the majority of them being Camaros. Before I bought my GT, I was looking hard at the 1LE, PP GT and Scat Pak. I chose the GT because I felt it was the best overall. And as far as looks go, yea I kinda like the way the new Camaros look, but it's like comparing a plus sized model to a super model. They both are pretty, but we all want the super model!

I'm keeping my 14 GT500 and using my 15 GT to beat on. The 13/14 Shelby's are insane cars.

I had a loaded 2012 2ss/rs ls3 6sp mt camaro and now driving the new stang. The car was ok but interior comfort and tech package was no where close to the new stang, however the six gen camaro is coming out and if i were you i would wait to see what GM is really offering. The new mustang feels a lot faster than my ls3 camaro even though the mustang gained weight. I m being honest here, the new mustang did let me really down with the weight gain, and, if the new camaro looses weight and improves the creature comforts then i ll be really disappointed. Mustang might have lost its weight advantage, horse power and torque figures in the battle! Here is what a new camaro might look like.

I'll let you know in 3 weeks or so, trading in my 2010 Camaro V6 for a 2015 GT. But from what I can see right now is that the interior differences are night and day, and the V6 in it isnt enough to pull that much weight, while the V8 Stang feels just right.

Just so we're clear on this hear. That Camaro isn't even a render, it was from Transformers 4....Not even close to what the actual car will look like.

The only Camaro I'd consider would be the 1LE. Ive driven it and was pretty impressed with it overall. I'm sure the 16' Camaro SS will be worth a look as well.

Since 2010 I have owned the following cars. Driving all of them on entertaining twisty backroads that living in the Great Northwest provides.
2010 Challenger SRT8 - new
2010 Mustang GT - new
2012 Camaro SS/RS - new
2013 Mustang GT - used
2014 Chevy SS Sedan (LS3 6.2L V8, Brembo brakes) - new

I came close to buying a 2015 Yellow GT Premium with 50th appearance package.

I was able to test drive a 2015 GT auto on some twisty backroads with a salesman that wanted to see what it could do. Handling is much improved over my 2013 GT but I could really feel all those extra lbs on the 2015. The IRS isn't as well planted as my Challenger, Camaro & SS Sedan. The brakes are awesome, they feel as good as my Challenger, Camaro & SS Sedan brakes which all have Brembos. The seats feel better than my other cars but I wonder how long that leather will last. Some 2015's are already having issues. The 2015 GT auto was noticeably slower than my 2013 GT auto.

I drove a 2015 GT manual & it felt more responsive but the clutch travel seemed a bit off. The 2015 EB Mustang I drove ($37K MSRP) felt much lighter on its feet (this is the weight the GT should of been) and had plenty of power at part throttle but flooring it left me wonder where the power went.

The A pillars on the 2015 Mustang improve front visibility from the previous Mustang. The Camaro's visibility was never a problem for me.

From my experience Fords quality control needs overhauled. Some of the 2015 Mustangs I saw on the lot looked like little kids put them together & others had almost perfect panel seams.

As far a reliability I've had no issues with my Camaro or SS Sedan. My Challenger has had numerous warranty repairs & all 3 of my Mustangs (2006, 2010, 2013) have been in for multiple warranty repairs.

Whatever car you choose you should have a fun ride. I would & I am waiting to see what 2016 brings. The new Camaro could be a major win or fail but if GM builds what is expected it will be a beast. I wonder what Ford has planned as a response? I would like to see more HP & less weight in the 2016 Mustang GT.

Weird ... The 2010 SS was a money pit from every owner I've seen and talked too... Funny that yours was just perfect. *cough cough* GM boy *cough cough *
All kidding aside...(not really)
I've owned a couple mustangs, not one problem except driving it hard a couple parts got some wear...
You can feel the weight gain with the GT, but in a good way... Feels a lot more planted. Compared to camaro, which just felt heavy from the gecko... As well as not being able to see much out the windows... Now Chevy is fixing the weight issue, but visibility still looks horrible...

TBH I dunno how you thought the Challenger handles better than the S550. Also "noticeably" slower than the previous gen? I know the new Mustang put on some weight, but in real world driving I don't think it's THAT noticeable.
