Looking
Just sold my 2014 V6 camaro because I want to upgrade to a V8. I'm looking at the 2015 GT and 2015 SS. I will be test drive my both but just wanted some feedback from previous camaro owners that switched to Mustang... Question is..
Would you come back?
If so, why?
If not; why?

Thank you all so much.

I owned a 2010 2SS, automatic for about 2 years. Liked it alot, but it honestly did not feel like a 400 HP car to me. Also the visibility from the cockpit was not great and it felt bigger to me than the Mustang does.

Fast forward 3 years later or so. I'm now driving a 2015 Mustang GT, manual transmission, base model. Feels more like a "muscle car" to me. I feel more connected with the road and can easily convince myself it's 400+HP. Interior fit and finish are better in the GT, but I have not recently driven a Camaro, so it might not be a fair comparison. Also, the visibility is much, much better in the GT.

For me, I'm glad I went with the GT. I still like the Camaro, and would love to one day own a GT, 1LE and SRT Scat Pack. They each have their strengths and weaknesses, but I feel the GT is the best overall. It does everything well, and nothing poorly. Good luck with your decision!!

I'm not a good person to ask. I HATE the new Camaro. It's so far under the bar set by the 2011 mustang, GM should be ashamed. That aside....

A very good friend of mine is just a car guy. No bias whatsoever. He bought a 10 SS when they dropped and traded it in on an 11 5.0 when they dropped. He now has a challenger scat pack.

He said, and I quote, "anyone who drives both the mustang and Camaro, and still buys the Camaro, has a great big number 3 tattood on them somewhere" (meaning they are a Chevy fanboi, aka, dale Earnhardt reference). I found it funny. (And the 15 is better than the 11)

The opinions of non die hards are the ones that are honest.

I gotta say i liked the Camaro when it came out in 2010 i ended buying an RS. Enjoyed it at the time but felt like the engine was lacking and ended up selling it for a Challenger R/T. Lately ive hated what they have done to the new Camaro IMO they killed the rear end and the interior is just ok the new wheels look crappy and the car just looks dated all of a sudden. I ended up going with a 2015 Mustang my self this year, went for the Ecoboost Performance Pack. Mainly for the price point and the ability to get big power on the cheap out of the Turbo engine..Interior is amazing, outside style is amazing!! IMO its not even close!!! Mustang all the way.. Or wait to see what chevy does for 2016..

Wait for the new camaro imo, it might be a homerun unlike the current camaro which is aging and looking old now.

Judging by the renders of the new camaro, it's either going to be
A) not very different from current gen

Or

B) just plain ugly...

Interior is so much better on the mustang...
And mustang is faster out of the pick.

That render is not bad until the front fascia.

I think that pic has been out for awhile now.. It was the concept car they used in the last Transformers movie.. The new Camaro might be similar but it wont be exactly the same.. Either way if it ends up being similar to that thank god i got the new Mustang! Lol..

Looks like a smaller 5th gen with a more pointy front.

Looks same size. The tapered front makes it look smaller. If it really is smaller, the side glasses will be the size of a ship porthole. They where already small. I think the guesses on smaller size are either 1) GM fan hopeful (remember us a year ago?) or 2) ford fan fears.
