Prevention Mods?

Hey guys, I just got my 2019 GT base 6spd, I was wanting to know of some really good preventive mods for my car. I dont have magneride or active exhaust. Im looking for things like a JLT catch can, drain plug for the oil pan, transmission bushings etc. Thanks!

Rock guards to prevent rocks flinging? I don't worry about it much, but if brand new I'd likely think about grabbing some.

Good oil, amsoil signature series 0w30 or 5w30 IMO. And I use amsoil eao17 filter. Check oil level every 500 miles. I also use 2 bottles of ceratec per oil fill. You could do a paint protection film if you really want to keep that paint nice. Maybe some suspension mods to prevent wheel hop. Buy good gas.

Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 5w-20 is some really good stuff. Amazon occasionally has some good bargains on it at certain times. Catch can is a good idea for the passenger side. Paint film and ceramic coating to keep your car looking pristine for years, but that sets you back about $2500 for both total.

Get some good ceramic window tint too! Makes a huge difference in hot summers.

Change out the wheels to a square setup to allow tire rotations if you care about that. It's an opportunity to get a lighter wheel and a square setup at the same time. Still do not understand to this day why Ford keeps doing this staggered setup.

BG Syncromesh fluid for the transmission and differential is a pretty awesome swap too. Certainly smooths up the shifts of the MT-82. Not really a preventative swap, but an improvement? Definitely.

That's all I can think of for preventative type stuff.

This! First thing I did when I got my car was have PPF installed on the bumper, hood, fenders, headlights, fog lights, and mirrors. Gives you peace of mind for highway driving.

If you don't plan on modding. Nothing?
Keeping up with maintenance and using good oil. Catch cans are cheap and easy to install its debatable if really that necessary. Tint will to keep your interior protected from sun fade esp for cloth seats. Waxing regularly and adding film protection to your front end to save on rock chips.
