Can't see the black edges in normal lighting(4 pm sunny Houston day) so it just looked like the shiny faces were all that was there.
I see what you mean now.

The Saddle seats in my 2012 which I have had for 4 years now, and drive year round, don't have any stains on them.
Things get on car seats. Coffee, soda, barbecue sauce, mayonnaise, butter (butter is RIDICULOUSLY hard to get out), dirt, sand, whatever's on dog's feet, blood sometimes, etc. etc. etc. Black hides that stuff a lot easier.

Geez Jimmy. It's a car seat not a kitchen table chair.

The red leather in my bmw was 6 years old and had not one stain.

I eat a lot of meals in my car. Side effect of a misbegotten life.

I'm with you jimmy. Black interior all day, every day.

I was able to keep my black interior 12' clean enough to be show room ready when it was totaled. I highly doubt any light color that I could have gotten instead would have held up as well.

Jesus....WTF. You gotta me one messy SOB when you eat:lol::lol:. I hardly ever eat in a car unless it is a long trip to visit family in VA. But if we do eat, there is no mess. This includes my 12 and 10 year old children.

Do you keep a change of clothes when all this "stuff" falls on your clothes before it hits the seats?

I have the 18" Foundry rims and I like them. I have a GT Premium with the 68B option. Which gave me full grain leather. I like the smooth "brushed" aluminum dash panel so much better than the others. As mentioned before, to each his own, but I would have with held the "vomit" comment. The only thing I wish I could get would be headrests with the 50 years logo to replace my plain ones.

Non-premier option with Recaros

I would assume that at least some of that has been accounted for in the price of the recaros?

Recaro price is the same if it's a base model or a premium.

By looking at the pictures of Recaros with the primer and without, I can only notice the differences:
White stitching on the center storage compartment
White stitching on the dash
Soft touch on the top door panels

So are the base guys getting a deal or the premium guys getting shafted? I think we can probably guess. :D

I loved the 18" wheels and paid $155 for them. I think they look fantastic on the DIB. The tires are much less expensive to replace and the wheel will be much easier to clean too. :)
I ordered those exact same wheels with my GT. My car is black. And i was able to see those wheels on the same color on an EB that was on the lot before i ordered. I like the look of the wheels and also the fact that the tires are much less expensive to replace (they're the same size as the tires on my Taurus, go figure!) and SUPER EASY to clean. Well worth the $141.
