I have been discussing this topic on my local thread but I wanted to open it up to the masses to assist me in my decision making.
On Nov 28th my wife ordered me a 2016 DIB GT Premium w/ PP, 400a w/ Nav, Ceramic interior. That is what I told her that I wanted for my 40th b-day (Jan 30th). She found out last Monday it will be about the 3rd week in Feb before it gets here.
Long story longer. I found out a few weeks ago about Ford's Conquest A Plan for friends and neighbors. I have a few friends with family that retired from Ford and with this promotion they were able to generate me an A Plan PIN
This was great because she was fine with paying X Plan for it so the additional $2k off was really awesome.
I was a little pissed that it was taking so long for the car that I ordered to get here that I have been looking all over to find the car at a lot so I could just go get it, but apparently Ceramic is a tough color to find with all the options that I want on it. While looking I found a 2016 DIB GT Premium w/ PP, 401a, Nav, Rear Park Assist with Premier Ebony Trim at a dealer about 50 miles away.
I originally told my wife that I didn't want the black interior since it seemed that every DIB out there has the black interior, but this is the Premier Trim interior vs the standard Ceramic interior.
So what are your thoughts? Do I just wait on what I ordered or is the Premier Trim worth the difference even though it is Ebony? Is there that much difference in the Premier Ebony over the standard Ebony to see a visual difference? The local one does have WAY more bells and whistles on it and the ability to use the A Plan pricing has really effected the way I can look at this purchase. Any which way it goes I know I am gonna get an awesome car.
Thanks! :ford:
