Preference on Gauges?

I've used AEM gauges for all of my personal cars but I'm coming to find almost no one in the domestic market sells them. Is there a reason? And what's everyone's preference on gauges? Just curious since almost all of the gauge brands I see on our vendors' sites are brands I was always advised to avoid.
