I also went with 325's. I like the slightest bit of rake they give it.
I want to know more about this too.
What size exactly?
325/30-19?
What model?

TireRack doesn't make it easy to search for two different size tires at once.

Yes, 325/30 pilot 4S.
I don't have the best pics.
Now I miss my car while it sits in storage.

Here's mine with 325s in the rear and the Cervini hood. Bullitt brakes. Track Pack spoiler.

Love the brakes. What did that cost?

Has anyone had issues with their front fender liners? I have stock sized 4S's up front and I burned through on each side.... a LOT. I had a hit and run in a parking lot and discovered this while addressing the front end damage.

Wow, that is a lot. I've had zero front fender rubbing on my 305 4s and don't recall anyone here at 6G saying so either. Any alignment issues or work done where the liners possibly didn't get secured back fully?

I am running 315/30r19’s PS4S’s on Apex 19x11, 52 offset wheels with a 25 mm spacer on the front of my PP2. No rubbing at all, suspension is completely stock.

Not that I know of. I bought the car new… that’s why it really surprised me. I installed the splitter and don’t remember seeing any issues at the time. I’ve had it on a lift a few times as well. I guess I’ll get it figured out when it’s back together.

Yea that is quite a lot of rubbing for stock.

Since it appears the front end is apparently apart, once it's back together, when parked, do a lock to lock on the R and L side. At each full lock, see how much the tire is coming into contact with each liner.

It could be an alignment issue if tire size is stock.

Is there any witness marks on the back side of the tires or on front strut casings (or any other front suspension component)?

One more question - not sure if it's possible, but has someone inadvertently installed the rear wheels on the front at some point and drove on them for a bit, which might have caused the wear through?

Good question Cobra Jet, forgot about that possible wheel mixup.

JJW - front wheel has the valve stem in the V shaped area and the rear wheels have the valve stem in the U shaped area. You may have wider wheels designed for rear in the front?

Yea, from the side profile they look the same but as you demo'd with the great pics, that's the only way to quickly tell when viewing the genuine PP2 wheels from the side of the car (or front faces of rims).

Can’t imagine a rear would even fit on the front without a spacer, inside of the tire would hit the strut, not allowing you to get it on the hub due to the rear wheel offset.

He did write that he had 4S tires up front. Those are a little thicker/taller and have a much different profile than same size original SC2s the car is designed for. The SC2s appear much easier to squeeze up front. You brought up a lot of good points. I ran Continentals on my PP2 original size, never noticed rubbing.
