I m wanting information on the possibility of installing Mach 1 front wheel lip molding. any info is appreciated or anyone having a set they don t want.

I installed and they don’t fit without creating some way to mount in lower front fender. They don’t tie into the side skirt either. It looks half assed so I took the $300 part off my car.

Thanks, that s what I was afraid of and didn t want to blow 300 either. Now if someone gave me a pair I d try like you did but most likely be a fail.

So the important #'s are that there were only 39 Rapid Red PP2s made.

There are a few reports the one I bought I guess is more about my cars production. There is a pricier version if I remember correctly. But these production numbers are more detailed than what I got

Just wanted to send a friendly message to correct the interior color statement. The red interior is “rapid red”. The exterior red color is race red. And if anyone knows where I can get a set of rapid red recaro sea

I stand corrected on the color. I checked my window sticker the color is called “showstopper” red.

Please forgive my questions if they ve been discussed ready but I couldn't find one source , even outside the forum, on ALL the PP2 differences. I m new to the pp2 but not new to Mustang. I Hear but can t confirm, K frame brace (more than a GT), other frame bracing I can t confirm under the car, larger sway bars and stiffer springs, Lower ride height, some sort of brake duct cooling, larger radiator, different magnaride settings, I m aware of the wheels, not certain about brake size comparisons (to mustangs) and I may be forgetting more. The engine I assume a standard 5.0 Mustang( don t think there s any different tuning)? Not sure what s true and not sure how the upgrades differs from a GT, GT350 or Mach 1. I ve looked thru dozens of u tube reviews also only to find limited mechanical information. Thanks!

The PP2 has a unique rear decklid spoiler. Only available on the PP2. That was my first modification.

Interesting they don’t have the wheel specs correct on the PP2 in the CJ article. It shows 19x9.5 (f) and 19x10 (r). They are actually 19x10.5 (f) and 19x11 (r).
