PP Shocks on base GT

Looking at getting some PP front shocks from another member on here to replace my base GT shocks which are clunky and probably on their way out. Anything particular I need to know about the base vs PP shocks?

I'm literally getting them as a replacement until I get a good set of aftermarket ones so I won't be lowering the car on them or anything. According to my research they should just bolt right up and that's that, is that correct?

Keep eyes peeled. Good deals to be had here, FB Marketplace, CL, eBay...

Shocks should have an L* suffix, like LE or LF for 2016-2017. For 2015 it was K*.

Good to know thanks, I'll definitely be looking into matching rears, since I think those are also on the way out. LOL I have really bad luck with suspension components on my cars.
